FYI for anyone dealing with private parties selling vehicles with a recent title, from Arizona, beware. There was an armed robbery 5/13 of an MVD dealer and the following title certificates were stolen.
The control numbers that appear on the stolen titles are 11398025 through 11400500.
Just be wary if you are purchasing a vehicle from a private party or an unscrupulous used car dealer, check these numbers.
