We think he's cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute!
Flint • May 16, 2008 2:39 pm

BigV • May 16, 2008 2:46 pm
"Turn that damn music down!"
Flint • May 16, 2008 2:52 pm

Trilby • May 16, 2008 4:59 pm
ok, Flinty, I'll bite. He's thinking, as all adorable creatures do, "I can get away with murder!!!!, and then he laughs to himself and plots your demise. Probably through poison.

Nothing that a little Fennec Fricassee won't cure.

Sage and mushroon stuffed Fennec ears with a goat cheese sauce
Cloud • May 16, 2008 6:06 pm

bullwinkle • May 17, 2008 10:25 am
Just be careful not to spill water on him!
Sundae • May 17, 2008 10:46 am
Spud, beat me to it on the Yoda front.
But, Gremlins anyone?

Lovely, cute picture, but a little poorly timed for me.
One of my (big eared) cats has been missing for 48 hours. Broken-hearted. I'll be avoiding Friday IoTDs for a while.
monster • May 17, 2008 11:46 am
aaw Sundae! Have you checked the office?

Anybody read the 1943 book "Mischief in Fez"? A good djinn comes to a little boy in the shape of a fennec (you can tell by the slit in one of the fennec's ears) to save him and his widower father from an unfortunate marriage to an evil djinn. It was still a fairly new book (sigh) when I read it, but made an impression that has lasted more than half a century, and I love that picture! Brings that wonderful book vividly back. (Only copy I can find on the internet is at Amazon for about $95.00!)
xoxoxoBruce • May 17, 2008 12:10 pm
Welcome to the Cellar, tombstone. :D
Glad we could spark some good memories.
Gravdigr • May 17, 2008 4:42 pm
Wow, what contrast-Post #29 with "1 post" (welcome tombstone BTW) and Post #30 with "25,668 posts".
xoxoxoBruce • May 17, 2008 8:22 pm
But you see, it doesn't make any difference, every member gets to put their :2cents: in.

The house broken might be true. I had a small red fox as a kid . It would follow on a lease?? SP Mind went blank
SPUCK • May 18, 2008 4:29 am

Sorry, you're wrong. Have you never had steamed artichoke? The older larger outer leaves have a strong, inedible inner structure, but you just scrape all the steamed flesh from the core with your teeth. These are just a bit bigger, that's all. Try to get some young ones, they are more tender...
