Went to see it last weekend with Tester-San.
I was delighted. I had avoided all the pre-press and am still avoiding all the reviews. I don't want to spoil my enjoyment of the movie.
It was to colorful 60s cartoons what Sin City was to dark, angst-ridden graphic novels.
It did it up just right. I was worried about how they'd handle Spritle and Chim-Chim. I shouldn't have been concerned.
There are parts of the movie that are unsafe for people with seizure disorders, but hey, that's part of the fun, isn't it?
It was fun, exciting, energetic, and they did the car right. The loop-de-loop tracks looked like something out of that weird level on Super Mario Kart, though.
