Let me be the first to congatulate the Cellar's huge Mexican population on the annual cellebration of their victory over France~AND the simultaneous invention of Mayonnaise.*

Ouch! I jammed a straw into the back of my throat when I tried to steal some of that margarita right off the monitor.

What's with all this Mexican temptation in the Cellar these days?
Chipotle, margaritas, strawberry dacquiris etc etc

I'm beginning to realise this whole board is a faux community set up with the backing of the Mexican Tourist Board.

And it's working, damnit!

Well, I know of at least 3 people within driving range of El Paso--maybe we could have a Cellar fiesta--for 16th de Septiembre!

I thought everyone was within driving range of El Paso - they have four months to get there.

I could be there in about 24 hours of straight driving with no stops.

I'll be there the week of the 19th.

I married a Texican who is learning to cook. Each time I go home, I teach her something new, last time it was how to use a crock pot. This time I tenatively will teach deep frying in a cast iron skillet. Or buy an actual fryer. Maybe both, but this time we're moving so I expect time to be short. Luckily, frying is easy.
