If you e-filed your tax return, check it! I got my "incentive money" direct deposited already!

Huh... It's in there, I'll be damned. Guess I'll go pay some bills with it, thanks Dubya.

July 4. Guess since that's a holiday they'll hand deliver to me. :lol2:

I used the website online-taxes.com and they get your return back incredibly fast. Last year it only took a week because I did them so early. This year I did it on the 15th and they had it back ten days later.

that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the extra money this year. Unfuckingbelievable, really.
binky • May 4, 2008 8:16 am
Yeah extra cause they're advancing you next years return
sweetwater • May 4, 2008 9:41 am
I don't think I'm getting any money back. Can I have some of yours?

Nope, that was the big gotcha last time, but this time it's different. It's not taxable, it's not an advance on a refund, it won't affect 2008 returns at all. It's just a big fat sloppy wet kiss from Dubya.

Just in time for us to put it toward a down payment on a house.

So now a third party, of who knows who, has a complete record of all your personal imformation. :eyebrow:

Wow SM you're right! I have heard on the news that it was the same as last time, but according to the IRS website, it isn't. However, I was due mine on 5/2 but did not get it direct deposited, as of today anyway

I hear you... I've been very tempted to use quicken.com, rather than the Windows version--so Mrs. Dallas can have easier access to it. But..... yikes.... sticking it all on a web site....

I've been using taxact and e-filing for several years. It's great!
footfootfoot • May 4, 2008 11:36 pm

Eh, I tend not to worry about things like big brother and identy thieft. Worse comes to worse, I either board up the house and gun it out, or move to Canada
