Birkenhead Crane Demolition video

Hey guys and girls i thought i would share a video i made of 2 old swan neck cranes that were demolished at 8am on Sunday 27th this month,The two cranes were called Fred & Albert and could lift 40tons each and i think were built in 1964.

It would have been better if they did a fight to the death. I'm sure they could have knocked each other over. Kind of like Mechagodzilla v. Godzilla.

And you're right, Pete is a briliiant photographer. I love the one where they're leaning over together at the same angle, like a couple figure skating.

What a waste, they could have been donated to poor people that needed a pick-me-up.:haha:
