Congratulations Clodfobble
Yes I know I could have put it in another thread.
But why not shout it from the rooftops?
Clod has had a big & healthy babba:
Evelyn Marie (hope I spelled it right) was 9,5!

Congratulations Clobbles!
ooh, yay! welcome cellarbaby!
Well, I had said I wasn't going to post since my first post, but heck, it's not every day you have a giant baby, and also get a call from England (well, some of you may get calls from England every day, but you probably live there). Here're a few pictures (it took me a sec to set up image hosting) of the baby and the family. Thanks for the call, Sundae Girl, it was unexpected and very nice.
Here's little Evelyn:

The two of them:

And everyone else:
She'll be back online soon, I assure you.
My goodness
What a beautiful family
Congratulations to all, and all my love x
Wow! She's beautiful! Congrats!

Congratz Fobble Family.
Gorgeous name for a gorgeous little girl
What a BEEEEEUTIful family!
Congrats you all!
(esp. you, big brother!)
Yes, yes awesome family unit! Welcome to the world little one, it will be a while before you discover what a favor you've been done by your parents.
Congratulations! The baby is beautiful.
Nice name. The first thing that came to mind was "
Eva Marie Saint".
9lbs? Ouch.
How on Earth did *this* happen? Why wasn't I informed? I have reason to believe there may have been...eww...*sex* involved in this somewhere.
Congrats to the entire CF family. Any NFL scouts drooling down the nursery window yet?
I also want to say that I think Clodfobble is one of the most beautiful looking post-natal patients I have ever seen in that pic. Such pride and love. Amazing, the lot o' ya!
btw why does clod have a huge blackboard behind her bed? Is she going to continue educating us all from hospital? it needs E=mc2 scrawling on it..... and stuff about Duck's love life....
It'd be a small friggen board required at the moment...the duck aint getting any.
The Clodfobble family are entirely too beautiful. It's not fair! That said, I have to say, congratulations, I'm so happy to see the joy in all your faces.
Woohooo! Fantastic news:) Congrats Clodfobble and family!
Beautiful pictures btw.
Congratulations! She is just beautiful
Congrats!! What a cute baby!

Congratulations, happy little family peoples.
Wow, congrats Clodfobble family!
That is soo sweet! Congratulations!!! Very nice little family awww!
That is one good looking family!
Welcome, Evelyn. You'll figure this out soon enough for yourself, but Daddy is for wrapping around your little finger, Big Brother is for blaming stuff on, and Mama is for making it all better when those others aren't cooperating.
Positively adorable, all of you!
Congratulations, Clods! May parenting her be as painless as possible.
so...how's yer whole.......family?

KiloFob
Thanks so much, everyone! We came home from the hospital this afternoon, and everything is just great! She's freaking huge, but no worries about having to deliver her--she was a scheduled c-section so it was a walk in the park in that respect, at least until the anesthesia started wearing off. :) Minifob had a pretty rough weekend, with Mommy being away in the hospital for three days, but now that we're home he's very happy to play with his new baby sister. Still working on that whole 'being gentle' thing, but he's trying... For her part she's just the sweetest, most un-fussy baby I've ever seen. It's all been ridiculously easy so far. Quite the opposite of her brother already.
I should head back off to bed now, but I wanted to say hi--Mr. Clod proudly showed me this thread on his phone in the hospital shortly after posting it, and was so disheartened to learn that he could have attached the photos directly without spending all that time getting an image host set up... Also, a special thanks to Sundae for the sweet phone call. It's not every patient that gets to brag to the nurses that someone overseas cares about them. Mr. Clod said you have "a very sexy British voice," and should really consider going into voiceacting. :)
Happy first week on earth Evelyn...................How's life so far?:D
Don't feel too bad man. This guy I work with and his wife had a daughter this week who weighed 13 POUNDS!!!
That's like giving birth to a 2 or 3 month old kid.
The worst part is she is a tiny little lady. She's about 4'10". She's Vietnamese. I heard they had to cut her and it wasn't a C-Section.
:headshake
Belated congratulations! Y'all make a very cute family. :) Good luck with the new baby!
copycat.
No seriously huge mongous congrats!
AWESOME.
We're backonline so I'll post a lengthier fawning tribute later.
tell mr fob to "get cracking"
Oh Clod I passed this info on to Mum tonight.
She was so happy (I told her all about you after the last birth). She says congratulations and laughed at the idea nurses in America can possibly be impressed by me. But she liked it too, I could tell.
Congratulations! And I trust everyone's well -- if getting sleep deprived?

And I trust everyone's well -- if getting sleep deprived?
We're doing great--ridiculously so, in fact. She only wakes up once or twice a night, so I'm honestly not even sleep-deprived. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, where she suddenly decides she's going to be like the first kid and wake up every single hour, but so far so good. And when they say that it gets easier with subsequent operations, they're not kidding. I'm off the meds entirely, and for the most part pain-free. I'm still using a chair to help Minifob get himself in and out of his crib, but only because I'm supposed to--I could lift him if I needed to.
This weekend was the first time my stepkids came over since she was born, and it went pretty well. The 9 y.o. girl was predictably entranced by cuteness, while the 6 y.o. boy was indifferent at best, but that's still a higher regard than he has for the toddler, so we'll take it. :)

Not after...oh, Tuesday, I suspect. ;)
Glad to hear all is well, Clod!

Did you show her the diet progress nekky pics? She'd understand, then. :)
