Strange darting Cloud!

Cicero • Apr 5, 2008 3:54 pm
Ohio:Apparently there were a lot of witnesses to this blue cloud at a gas station! Woooow! Darting around for at least thirty minutes. Weird.
Looks neat-o.
:D
I wonder of this is near any of our cellar members?

Cool Stuff: Link to video and article.

Those pumps are all computer controlled... blue cloud of death.
Happy Monkey • Apr 5, 2008 9:36 pm
Insect on the camera lens.

It isn't a natural color. A very ugly man made blue. You know when you go pick out paint colors? That's the color you don't choose. They sprayed a smear of blue on plastic and floated it around the lenz.

( yes I am trying very hard to make up for wanting to believe in the penguins flying)
Happy Monkey • Apr 5, 2008 11:59 pm
There was probably a blue illuminated sign nearby, lighting up the bug.

How do you explain the eye-witness accounts? How much proof do you need? Did I ever tell you guys that sometimes you are overly-skeptical, beyond reason?
:)

Combination of sceptical and skeletal?
Cicero • Apr 6, 2008 1:38 pm
That's Sketchy and Skeptical sketical. :)

Hey Sundae,
How many skeptics does it take to change a light-bulb?

Aww...nevermind...... You probably wouldn't get it anyway...

:)
Sundae • Apr 6, 2008 1:41 pm
Nah, I'd never believe you anyway :)

I am a super-sceptic, being a complete atheist and non-believer in everything from tarot to Atlantis via aura photography. Doesn't mean I'm not interested in reading this kind of thing, I promise.

ooh. Score! Please, correct my spelling some more. It makes me all hot and bothered. What is that word? Schooled and Septic? Sceptic?

1pt. Cicero
1pt. Sundae
:D

I don't know what the booby prize is but I suppose you are going to win it. Again.;)
Sundae • Apr 6, 2008 1:49 pm
Nah - you get a point for posting something interesting (even if I want to find a mundane reason for it) and a bonus point for a reasonable introduction of septic, even if I would dispute it myself ;)

O.G. Greek. I have a gang.

We make sure people are putting K's in the proper places and spelling Greek philosophical concepts correctly. You seem to be a fine candidate for said, gang, thus far. You can join if you recite the greek alphabet off the top of your head.

Oh you are busy that night and every night after? K.

:)
Sundae • Apr 6, 2008 2:22 pm
I can recite the Greek alphabet and the Geek alphabet as well as the call sign alphabet (except it backfires when I give my initial as C for Charlie and get things addressed to Charlie...)

I am teh alphabet queen and I want to join up please!

All of the eye-witness accounts were via the camera. Even the dude shown in the video doesn't react to it.
spudcon • Apr 6, 2008 3:29 pm
It's an effect of evil white American men causing global warming.

Debunked!
:D
Nice work everyone!

I seriously thought people had eye-witness accounts, not just monitor viewing accounts. That's a bunch of crap...
Cloud • Apr 7, 2008 12:59 pm
strange, I'll give you. Darting not so much.

Your Google-fu is better than mine. I made a half-hearted attempt to find the earlier discussions, but for some reason didn't think to search YouTube. D'oh!

I am surprised it wasn't on snopes (except in the forums).

You should only give your middle initial to former NATO comms specialists, then. ;)

Trust me, it wouldn't work!
My Mum once got something addressed "Dear Sugar" because she was asked, "F for Freddie?" and replied, "No, S for sugar."
