Deserves its own thread.

Did anyone catch this video produced by UK's BBC?

Apparently the penguins do this every first of April....

I love it! That is tears-in-the-eyes funny.
Reminds me of the flying penguin in one of the Little House books. Now I need to go watch it again.

oh well then I object to being made a fool upon! This 5th day of april!:D

'cause I actually thought "wouldn't it be nice if the penguins were evolving...adapting to the changes in climate....shrinking icecaps" ...then

Not even close to 'elf bowling'. Reminded me of this bawdy little game I tried once.
A little out of season but so are flying penguins.

More on Flying penguins:

First the April 1 breakfast TV news programme and the item where the video is featured - complete with comment from David Attenborough!

And second another tribute to flying penguins

Doublelaugh on the flying penguins. After using up my quota I sent it on to siblings, one of whom told me later that she didn't know any penguins could fly. Not joking. But I was once caught by a Discover magazine April Fool hoax, so I cannot mock her too much. But still!
