Jealous?

Trilby • Mar 28, 2008 4:38 pm
I talked with Sundae Girl last night for about forty minutes you all! My son answered the call and when I got home told me a woman with "the sexiest voice" had called. :) I called her right back but she insisted on calling ME back. We had a lovely chat!!

so...jealous much? ;)

i'd like to hear sundae's version of this 'conversation' first.
Elspode • Mar 28, 2008 11:23 pm
I'm not sure if I'm jealous or not. Was the phone sex really good?
classicman • Mar 29, 2008 2:00 am
Is your son old enough to have "that type of call" ;)
DucksNuts • Mar 29, 2008 5:20 am
I am.

SG and I have a date for a chat, but I need to work on the timezone thing.
Sundae • Mar 29, 2008 7:17 am
My version of the conversation is the same, minus the compliments to me because that would be tacky :)

Had a great chat with Bri and it cost me about 15p!
We had a good old gossipi about y'all...

Yes Ducks, I've been trying to puzzle out when we would both be awake together. Hmmmmm.

I have an irrational fear of the telephone, and always have.

I make J order our takeout dinner.

Even when talking to my loved ones, I hate it.

If the conversation lasts more than 2 minutes, you're ghey.
SteveDallas • Mar 29, 2008 1:34 pm
I don't fear the telephone.

I fear the people on the other end.

Did you ever have to work in an inbound call center? I rarely answer the phone and I think it is because of my experiences in that sort of job.

Funnily enough, that was what helped me with my (til then) lifelong aversion to talking on the phone. Is still don't like it, but I will now make a call to resolve an issue rather than send an email. It's just quicker.

Didn't help me to work in telephone support for two years. As a result, I'm a little more comfortable with the phone but only if I wear a handsfree device of some sort.
xoxoxoBruce • Mar 30, 2008 8:32 pm
If I were talking to SG or Bri, I'd want a hands free also.

Sadly so do I. Actually I only have an irrational reluctance to speak on the phone if in front of other people. Kind of made working in a corporate sales environment pretty tough back in the day.

Me too. There's something very irksome about that. I also don't like listening to only one end of a conversation.
lushchocolateswirl • Apr 3, 2008 8:24 am
Well I get free calls around the world so if any of you are willing to give out a number i'm cool with it. Cant' garrentee it'll be sexy though :D
Sundae • Apr 12, 2008 7:03 pm
Spoke to Lady Tush tonight!
No, won't demean her by just focusing on her anatomy, LabRat was funny, clever and lovely to talk to. Had a great chat and said hai to Big Red.

For the record I spoke to LJ the other night, but it wasn't a great line at my end, so every other word was, "WHAT?!" He was uber-cool though, as expected. The sort of guy you hope might notice you at school, then you realise he's actually dating a female super-hero. You know, the kind of woman who actually looks good in spandex. After 2 children. Jinx I'd love your number BTW.

Still trying to get Shawnee but we have connection issues.

C-C-C-Call meeeeeeee....

It was awesome to talk to you SG! Red knew who it was right away from watching your videos, and he thinks you have a wonderfully sexy voice. BTW, I also spoke with case this weekend, and it was too funny. I felt like I could have talked to you both for hours. . .Why do all the cool people live so dang far away?
kerosene • Apr 14, 2008 12:12 pm
I enjoyed SO much, talking to you, Labrat! Thank you for calling me for a chat! Feel free to call, anytime. I will give you a call once in a while, too.

I pretty much refuse to answer the phone in my house merely for the fact that there is a 4 out of 5 chance that it is not for me. I hate speaking on the phone at home generally because I don't want anyone to bother me at home.
