March 20th is National Sweater Day, in honor of Fred "Mr. Rogers" Rogers. Today would have been his 80th birthday.

David Newell, who played speedy deliveryman Mr. McFeely on the show, appears in a YouTube video that touts the event.

A co-worker of mine told me about this, because I wear a cardigan-style sweater every day, and often get "Mr. Rogers" jokes.

Did you know that Fred Rogers was the first drummer for Led Zeppelin?

Yeah, but if was before they were using that name.

When I see anything about Mister Rogers I think of Eddie Murphy playing him on SNL.

I accidentally participated. I just got a new cardigan style Irish Sweater (St Pat's Day on QVC) and have worn it several times this week.
