The president has submitted a plan for the creation of The Department of Homeland Security, which proposes the most significant reorganization of the US government adminstration since the second world war.

As I said in another thread: Calling this reorganization "re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic" is probably a bit harsh. But only a bit.

I hope it degenerates into partisan bickering and no department is created.

I'll do it. But don't be surprised if _my_ re-education camps feature such torturous things as American History (emphasis on the Revolution), trignometry (with emphasis on ballistics applications), and calculus (OK, that one really is torture, have to do somthing to keep the Prez unsuspecting as to the real purpose... :-) )

Because the president can't pronounce the word nuclear, the administration now favors "dirty" bomb as the weapon of mass destruction of the evil doers.
