I voted that I usually vote and then post a comment. I don't always comment though, and for that matter I don't always vote. Usually though, I happen to not vote for the most popular choice, and although I've never thought about it before, perhaps the reason I comment is to try and get people to see another way of looking at whatever they're voting for or to explain my point of view in the hope of creating understanding.
Of course, I probably shouldn't bother doing this, but such is life. I yam what I yam.
