Britney "Psycho" Spears

classicman • Jan 10, 2008 2:02 pm
January 10, 2008 -- Britney is now south of the border.
Spears, 26, boarded a private jet last night in L.A. with her new paparazzo boyfriend and flew to Mexico.
While initial reports said Spears came to NYC, a video confirms the mother of two is in Mexico.
The popwreck suffered what some would call a nervous breakdown last week when she allegedly took her two children hostage before being carted off to the psych ward of an L.A. hospital.
Britney and British boytoy Adnan Ghalib booked the private flight and left Los Angeles with one other male passenger, according to Splash News.
They were reportedly holding hands and giggling as they boarded the aircraft.
Britney fled LA after family members and professionals formed a team to get her mental help, either voluntarily or involuntarily, for treatment of what appears to be a severe bipolar disorder.
So far, the 26-year-old Toxic tart has refused to commit herself voluntarily, but the team is persisting.
Sources say they are considering "a number of options," some of which are "creative."
The most extreme option -- a last ditch effort -- is going to court and getting an order forcing Britney into in-patient treatment.

Even I'm beginning to feel sorry for her and moreso her kids.
binky • Jan 10, 2008 2:24 pm
They need to commit her, involuntarily if necessary, and not just for a day or two
lookout123 • Jan 10, 2008 2:27 pm
Britney is actually just the most realistic sock puppet LJ has ever created. He wrote this one while on a test drive.

I'm not sure which idea is most disturbing. That was some seriously unstable, nutjob Britney fan or someone took the time to create that as a joke for the internet.

now that is funny.
Giant Salamander • Jan 15, 2008 11:59 pm
I've only seen that Brit-Fan vid like 3 times.
It's still piss-pant funny to me.

But seriously; anyone who is obsessed with Spears should just get a bug in a jar and go to town with a magnifying glass. It's cheaper, and healthier, and you can always find more bugs.
Or maybe adopt a puppy from the pound, if they just can't stop feeling sorry for her.

I can't believe her situation gets so much attention.
lumberjim • Jan 16, 2008 2:04 am
can you imagine being under that much pressure all the time?

walk a mile people.
Aliantha • Jan 16, 2008 2:27 am
The actual fan in the first video says right at the end, "Leave Britney alone. If you have a problem with her you have to deal with me...she's not well right now."

Hello! I don't think you're very well either mate.

Seriously though, it's a really terrible situation for everyone involved, and none of us know what it's really like.

On the bright side, look at Drew Barrymore. She was a child star gone wrong and she's got her shit together now it would seem. Maybe there's hope for Britney too.
lumberjim • Jan 16, 2008 2:34 am
and dave chapell?

these people can crack under the stress of the media constantly being up their asses.... i wouldnt want that kind of attention for more than 5 minutes..... and you see people ask.... ''wealth or fame?" ???? pah...wealth, easy.
Aliantha • Jan 16, 2008 2:54 am
money doesn't make you happy either though, but I guess at least if you're wealthy you can be sad in comfort.
Shawnee123 • Jan 16, 2008 8:48 am
lol...that's what I've always thought, Ali. I read somewhere the other day something like "money doesn't buy happiness but it's much more comfortable to cry in a Porsche."
DucksNuts • Jan 16, 2008 5:58 pm
Lj, thats bs.

There are plenty of celebrities who handle being in the spot light without going nutty and flashing their bits all over the place.

Brit is an attention whore, just a really fucking dumb one. You can tell she does stupid things to get on the front of these magazines, she's stepped up her nuttiness since Jamie-Lynn has been getting some attention.

I have no sympathy for her at all.

I cant remember the details, but there is a *big* (subjective) campaign on over here at the moment with one of the magazines call save Britney or we believe in Britney.

But they invited the media in the first place. They made the bed....

....and if they don't want to lie in it that's fine, they can just walk away. You don't think so? Michael Jackson seems to manage to to a pretty good job of keeping away from the cameras and being nuts in private.......
Cloud • Jan 16, 2008 9:26 pm
I don't think anybody really understand sthe impact of fame and publicity until they hit it big. Certainly Britney was incapable of making such an assessment when she started at what--age 7? A good percentage of stars have trouble with the consequences.
DucksNuts • Jan 16, 2008 10:28 pm
Sure, but she can walk away and not be so pathetic in the public eye.
Cloud • Jan 16, 2008 10:49 pm
if she were a clear-headed, rational, mature person. Which she obviously isn't right now.
DucksNuts • Jan 16, 2008 11:04 pm
Good point :)
deadbeater • Jan 16, 2008 11:09 pm
One good thing about the Britney saga--now no one wants to go on 'Dr. Phil'.
Cloud • Jan 16, 2008 11:10 pm
yay!
monster • Jan 17, 2008 11:07 am
Suddenly, I feel more sympathetic towards her!

I wonder if the show will get cancelled?
Trilby • Jan 17, 2008 11:30 am
I heard Brit and her (married) boyfriend were seen in an LA Rite-Aid buying a pregnancy test. Awrrrrright!

Seriously, though, ya think she's bipolar? or just very quaaluded out?
robsterman1 • Jan 17, 2008 1:42 pm
Britney's such a psychotic wreck that she's so damned pathetic. She deserves NO sympathy for what she has done to her life. Amy Winehouse is the only person worse off than Britney herself is.
Shawnee123 • Jan 17, 2008 2:16 pm
 LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!

One thing is for sure. If Brit started acting normal, boring even - the number of paparazzi hounding her would drop dramatically. After all, if she isn't flashing her snatch, letting her baby drive, or freaking out in the street...what is there to take a picture of?
Shawnee123 • Jan 22, 2008 12:35 pm
I truly believe it's all an act. She'll finally "go away" for a while, and when she comes back all sweet and normal she'll get that "comeback" that has so eluded her to this point.
wolf • Jan 22, 2008 4:56 pm
We are totally digging this shit at work, especially when she was shown in the back of the ambulance freaking out.

See "Borderline Personality Disorder."

I deal with this stuff about a dozen times a week.

There's a reason she's on my celebrity death pool list for this year.

I thought so too, but its way past that point now with me. The chick is whack!
lumberjim • Jan 23, 2008 1:02 am
i have to admit that i avoid all intelligence about her reflexively. im just not interested. change the channel. it just seems that i hear her name SO much. the cameras must be nonstop. i know that i would have pulled a sean penn by now were it me. but i guess i would be less....out there. good thing im not famous. i'd be an insufferable fuck. me and jinx would be flying off to mexico right before the superbowl.....she's be wiggling her boobies in my jersey for the camera......oh...sorry....got a little lost in a fantasy there for a sec....
Cloud • Jan 23, 2008 8:59 am
she's aiming to be the next Anna Nicole; or has achieved it. At least Britney did/does have some talent.
shina • Jan 23, 2008 3:33 pm
The girl is nuts! What is with the British accent stuff. Jeez! She's getting publicity though. I see Britney unauthorized bios hitting the bookshelves soon.

What? Anna had the best talent... giving an old man something to do beside chase kids off his property.
There in no higher calling, so get with the program, ladies.

Gladly, now where is my rich old man with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel? :p
lookout123 • Jan 25, 2008 3:11 pm
You could just go to the old folks home. I'm sure you'll find plenty of guys that'll put their foot anywhere you want it if you give there banana a feel.
Trilby • Jan 31, 2008 9:12 am
Oh, my. Seems the girl is now on a 72 hour hold at another hospital. I know this stuff seems trivial and overdone, but I wonder if she's going to make it. I think of marilyn monroe and her tragic end...yikes!
bbro • Jan 31, 2008 9:44 am
Well, she didn't stay the entire time she was supposed to last time. I would be surprised if she stayed the whole time now.
classicman • Jan 31, 2008 10:36 am
She needs months of erious mental adjustments and rehab. Till that happens this will be one tragic headline after the next.
Cloud • Jan 31, 2008 10:59 am
a motorcade the size of a football field to the hospital, oy!

you know, maybe if we all just left her alone, she'd be able to get better.
Shawnee123 • Jan 31, 2008 11:37 am
lol..."we"?

I'm pretty sure the Brit doesn't know I exist. ;)
Thesilkmeister • Feb 6, 2008 6:47 pm
what a total fucking madhouse. I just watched a vid here in Oz of everyones favourite mousketeer leaving hospital and im not entirely sure who's more fucked up? Britney, or the freaks that take her picture.

35-40 guys chasing a car 250m, trying to cut her off in other cars, before throwing themselves on the bonnet and snapping pics through the window........only to realise she's not in the car, and sprinting ANOTHER 300m to get to the back of some joint in the hope she will emerge with a third arm and married to Michael Jackson.

Over here we don't see nearly as much of her antics as you US kiddies do, but most of the people i speak to just feel sorry for her. I can see where some people say she's brought it on herself and she prolly has to a certain extent, but fair go after a while surely? Wasn't it the Federline dude that was in trouble for partying and rooting anytihing with a pulse when they first hooked up - now he's a model dad and has dissapeared, and she's off her trolley.

If anyone wants to witness the very public destruction via harrassment of a so called 'Pop Icon' then grab some popcorn and stay glued to your TV. Not cool at all if you ask me.

hit me baby one more time
deadbeater • Feb 6, 2008 9:33 pm
Damn if possible, it gets even more twisted. The mom requested a restraining order against Osama the manager of Britney, claiming that Osama drugged Britney--and the request was granted!!
Clodfobble • Feb 6, 2008 11:07 pm
Restraining orders are almost always granted. It is retardedly easy to get one. Hell, a judge granted a crazy lady in New Mexico a restraining order against David Letterman, insisting that he stay a minimum of 3 yards away from her (he lives in New York...) because he "used code words" in his broadcasts "to show he wanted to marry her and train her as his co-host."
