Sketches

Well, I'm not a great artist, but I do enjoy sketching and drawing when the mood strikes. I was browsing through my sketchbook tonight and found a few I thought I'd share with y'all.

They're pretty bad scans -- hence the blurry corners -- but I didn't have the heart to cut them out in order to get them to fit the scanner bed. Hopefully the ideas will come across, anyway.

Peacock & Peahen (The peahen turned out a little weird, but I like the peacock.)

I love these, Choco! Your last sketch wouldn't have anything to do with our conversation earlier, would it? :D There seems to be a happiness that comes through in your sketches...whimsical or something. I love that!

very cool Chocolatl! I love Banana Heaven. It's like a conceptual sketch that is expressed in such an interesting and cool way.

Wow, I didn't know there was a tropical island in our sewer system. The things ya learn in the Cellar.

Thanks, guys. :) And yes, Case, the koi picture was definitely from our conversation in chat. I had originally meant to sit down and sketch a bear, but before I knew it I was drawing up as many koi crammed into a case as I could. I wish the scanner didn't overexpose the images so much - the colors are a lot more vibrant and solid in the original.
