Natural vs. Fake

Razzmatazz13 • Dec 13, 2007 2:33 pm
Sorry.

Ok, consensus is this thread should be about boobs.

So, real or fake? :D
HungLikeJesus • Dec 13, 2007 2:39 pm
It's like deja vu all over again.
lookout123 • Dec 13, 2007 2:40 pm
it's a glitch in the matrix, right?
Shawnee123 • Dec 13, 2007 2:41 pm
It seems we've stood and talked like this, before.
Razzmatazz13 • Dec 13, 2007 2:42 pm
sorry -.-

can someone delete it?
lookout123 • Dec 13, 2007 2:43 pm
funny thing i was expecting this to be a clone thread about breastesseses.
jinx • Dec 13, 2007 2:44 pm
Fake! :ggw:

Woohoooo...
HungLikeJesus • Dec 13, 2007 2:44 pm
I think you should see where it goes.

I was hoping this was going to be about body parts.

I'll vote for natural, in that case.

Edit: Looks like I'm not the only one.
Shawnee123 • Dec 13, 2007 2:45 pm
Great minds, cuz, I thought the same thing.

Anyway, razz, it gave me a chance to notice your signature line which is totally awesome! :)
lookout123 • Dec 13, 2007 2:45 pm
it's hard to say really. i think a taste test is absolutely necessary.
HungLikeJesus • Dec 13, 2007 2:46 pm
Is it (Razz's signature) addressed to anyone in particular?
Shawnee123 • Dec 13, 2007 2:46 pm
Is what addressed to anyone in particular?

Touche, eh? Nice quick editing btw.
Razzmatazz13 • Dec 13, 2007 2:50 pm
kay, it's about boobs now, go for it.

P.S. thanks (about the sig thing)

OK, but I need to change my vote (no boobs).
Razzmatazz13 • Dec 13, 2007 2:54 pm
lol, ok, but I don't think I can edit the poll...

so just give us your best argument in text form to counteract your previous anti-boob statement?
lookout123 • Dec 13, 2007 2:55 pm
HungLikeJesus;416226 wrote:

you don't like boobs?
HungLikeJesus • Dec 13, 2007 3:03 pm
Do fake breasts produce non-dairy creamer?
Cloud • Dec 13, 2007 3:26 pm
hmm, if this is about boobs, I can't answer that question due to lack of context. For instance, if I were a movie star, or a stripper (or somewhere in between) I would have to go for fake, in order to enhance my business assets.

If I were really, really flat or tiny, there's an emotional content here that using the word "fake" really doesn't address.

Just for me, though, and for the average person . . . real.
classicman • Dec 13, 2007 3:59 pm
Just like my tree ;) real...
Shawnee123 • Dec 13, 2007 4:05 pm
Just like my tree: thick, lucious, and come to a point.
HungLikeJesus • Dec 13, 2007 4:34 pm
Shawnee, you mean dry, brittle and the balls are just for decoration?
Shawnee123 • Dec 13, 2007 4:36 pm
That's YOUR tree, HLJ. I have no need for balls.
Master_At_Blubbering • Dec 13, 2007 4:46 pm
I LIKE BIG FAKE ANGRY TITTIES

THE ONES THAT YOU JUST SHOVE YOUR FACE IN AND STOP BREATHING A LITTLE BIT THEN YOU STICK YOUR HEAD OUT AND THERE IS SO MUCH BOOB STILL LEFT THAT YOU PUT UR FACE IN AGAIN AND KEEP DOING IT UNTIL YOU PASS OUT

ANYWAY THATS AWESOME
classicman • Dec 13, 2007 4:55 pm
HFS ROFLOL !! !!! !!!! :lol2:
Cicero • Dec 13, 2007 4:56 pm
I'm going to post a photo of my skinny tree...It's a 4 footer and looks malnourished...it's definitely a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree...It also leans (it started doing that this year). Which is funny because I got a "leaning tower of pisa" ornament this year too!! Silly.....tree. My tree just looks silly......
:)
Sundae • Dec 13, 2007 4:57 pm
Mine are just like a tree (or more correctly, wood), seems to be eager to meet my bush.

If I had the money I would have corrective surgery. I'd prefer a lift to implants simply because the only implants I have felt personally were quite hard. I am all about touch as opposed to look - I sexually matured feeling at my best when the lights are low! HOWEVER I understand implants have changed greatly since I last copped a feel about 6 years ago. I would never rule it out and certainly not on any moral/ ethical sort of grounds. And I have no opinion on other women's breasts any more than they would about my fake hair colour.

Ah - with the exception of the Essex Princesses I see in town. Barbie blonde hair extensions, orange fake tan, fake nails... there is such a thing as trying too hard.

Oh and Razz - no option in the voting for Bri?!
Master_At_Blubbering • Dec 13, 2007 4:59 pm
WTF WHY CANT I VOTE FOR TITS

THIS SUCKS
classicman • Dec 13, 2007 5:02 pm
lol - NooB
Cicero • Dec 13, 2007 5:04 pm
Oh, we were talking about boobs...
Aliantha • Dec 13, 2007 5:14 pm
People should have whatever sort of boobs they want. If women don't feel good about their body image then it's their right to do what they want with it. Unfortunately, a lot of women don't feel good about their body because of what society tells us all we should look like.
LJ • Dec 13, 2007 5:16 pm
but are good boobs a right or a priveledge!?

:: duck and cover ::
Aliantha • Dec 13, 2007 5:18 pm
Boobs are a phsiological occurance in the female species. It's got nothing to do with rights or priveledges.
jinx • Dec 13, 2007 5:43 pm
Unfortunately, a lot of women don't feel good about their body because of what society tells us all we should look like.

Are you suggesting women should ignore what society tells us?
classicman • Dec 13, 2007 5:45 pm
Women have the right to have them and allow others the Privilege ..... oh nevermind.

remember that privileges can be revoked AT ANY TIME
Aliantha • Dec 13, 2007 5:46 pm
I suppose it depends. There are some things that society influences women on unduly. One of those is body shape in my opinion.
jinx • Dec 13, 2007 5:52 pm
Society is unjustified in determining what is beautiful?
HungLikeJesus • Dec 13, 2007 6:03 pm
But that particular society is women. I don't think men have much to do with it.
Aliantha • Dec 13, 2007 6:18 pm
Society can think what it likes however, society favours women who look a certain way, so some women who are unable to look that way for whatever reason feel they have to go to, in some cases, extreme lengths to achieve what they think is the ideal.
Aliantha • Dec 13, 2007 6:19 pm

Right, men don't have anything to do with how they objectify women and gag about big boobs or talk about how hot that womans legs are etc ad nauseum?

Yeah, I get that, I'm just wondering why you used the words "unfortunately" and "unduly" in your previous posts.

Are ya implying that I'm an asshole? :lol2:
Aliantha • Dec 13, 2007 9:56 pm
I used the word unfortunate because I think it is very disappointing and sad that some women feel so influenced by what society tells them to the extent that they can't see their own beauty for what it is.

Sure everyone has the choice in how they think (although that's arguable to an extent) but some people never have the opportunity to learn different ways of thinking and it's not necessarily their fault.
Razzmatazz13 • Dec 13, 2007 10:24 pm
Holy cow this thread got popular after I went in to work...

Sundae Girl;416279 wrote:

Couldn't change the poll once I made it. Otherwise it wouldn't still say "tree" either.
jinx • Dec 13, 2007 10:28 pm
But why is it disappointing and sad? Why shouldn't a woman feel influenced to conform to an ideal that society has determined?
Aliantha • Dec 13, 2007 10:31 pm
I think there's a difference between conforming in matters of moral and legal value in society and matters of appearance.
jinx • Dec 13, 2007 10:46 pm
Matters of appearance being much more personal and sacred?
Aliantha • Dec 13, 2007 10:48 pm
To some yes.
Beest • Dec 14, 2007 12:03 am
Damn, I voted without reading the thread and it's change of subject.

Can I go back and reconsider option 4
monster • Dec 14, 2007 12:07 am
Option 34 with Christmas trees?
Razzmatazz13 • Dec 14, 2007 1:35 am
You asked for it, and so I made it for you...

Aliantha • Dec 14, 2007 2:52 am
nice work there Razz. I'm still trying to figure out what rule 34 is. I know I saw all the discussion on another thread, but I still don't get it. Can someone please explain.
Razzmatazz13 • Dec 14, 2007 3:14 am
Basically it's just as it says: If it exists, there is porn of it on the internet.
No exceptions.
Aliantha • Dec 14, 2007 3:19 am
oh well thanks. That clears that one up.

Yea, WTF!

No really, real tree always all the time, no fake trees. My parents had one when I was a kid, it was all the rage at the time. I hated it. We picked up our tree yesterday.
Razzmatazz13 • Dec 14, 2007 2:38 pm
See, I talked about making a real vs fake tree thread back at the end of november, but wanted to wait. Yesterday I had just remembered and finally got around to making it, when it was pointed out that LJ already HAD made one...so I felt silly and asked for it to be deleted but everyone started talking about boobs, so I switched it to boobs, but I can't edit the poll once it's up, or at least *I* couldn't figure out how if I can because I am a noob. So now it's sort of stuck between being about trees and being about boobs, really, just talk about whatever, I give up. :)

I'm pro natural on both topics, but have nothing against people who choose fake un's either way.
HungLikeJesus • Dec 14, 2007 2:41 pm
I know people with fake knees, shoulders, hips and elbows. What about those people?
Razzmatazz13 • Dec 14, 2007 2:42 pm
HLJ, if you were here right now, I'd be giving you a purple nurple.

I just thought you should know. :)

To be honest, I think you just did.
lookout123 • Dec 14, 2007 2:45 pm
HLJ, just to clarify - a proper purple nurple does not a sticky keyboard make.
HungLikeJesus • Dec 14, 2007 2:51 pm
That's alright - I'm going to run my keyboard through the dishwasher.

They are just sadly conforming to society's pressure to have functioning limbs, rather than accepting their beauty as it is?
lookout123 • Dec 14, 2007 3:44 pm
losers i tell you. conformist losers.

that's why i'm a non-conformist. just like all my friends.
kerosene • Dec 14, 2007 4:26 pm
Ooooh...can I be one too?
Sundae • Dec 14, 2007 4:35 pm
I grew up with a fake tree - I didn't know any different so I loved it.
First person I knew with a real tree was when I was 13. We came back from school and her parents had put it up - she was delighted and said, "Oh it smells like Christmas now!" I was horrified that she didn't get to join in the decorating. Family customs, eh?

Oh my Dad has a fake knee. Probably explains why he let fake trees into the house.
kerosene • Dec 14, 2007 5:22 pm
I grew up with a fake tree, too. I don't particularly mind either way. But this year, we have sort of not done a tree...mostly because we are going to be in southern texas all week, where there is no snow...can't have christmas without snow, dammit!
Sundae • Dec 14, 2007 5:30 pm
My parents are house sitting at the moment (another 2 weeks being paid to live in a millionaire's house, how tiring) but close enough to home to pop back for my nephew's birthday. Talked to Mum tonight and she said they went back to their house and it felt so grey and drab and sad. I was just about to console her about the fact she isn't a millionaire when she added it was because she could see Christmas decorations in all the neighbours' houses and theirs was bare.

I felt a warm glow looking at our little leaning tree with lights that don't work.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, there's always someone worse off than me, how comforting...
