December 7, 2007: Mike's Chicken

3 months ago, Buddy the dog brought this bird home in his mouth and was so proud. Henry (or Henrietta?) took up with him. When frightened, the bird headed for Buddy. It also roosted on dog's back. Bird didn't care for dog at top of photo.

Sadly, now it's just some feathers in the yard. Maybe a fox, coyote, or bobcat got her?

Whoah. Weird. I like it.

Is she trying to hatch the dog?

Was she brought home as a chick that could imprint on the dog? That might explain some of this. But she looks fully adult in this picture so I don't think this is the case.

I'm trying to imagine how they could have become such friends. What, did they save each other's lives or something?

Alas for the passing of Henrietta.

If it's just one, shouldn't it be 'contact len'?

does this settle the question then? the chicken came first, brought of course, by a dog.
Gravdigr • Dec 7, 2007 3:12 pm
I fucked a chicken once...I came first.

Also, does this make Buddy a "bird dog"? (sorry, couldn't help myself)

This is news? Sound hound brings home some chick and they do it doggy style. Big deal.

Not to be confused with Mike the Headless Chicken.
ZenGum • Feb 27, 2010 7:51 pm
Seems Buddy and Henrietta must have spent some quality time together.
