What was the last tv show you watched regularly?

Griff • Nov 23, 2007 9:52 am
JAG. The really embarrassing part is we didn't cut the cord until summer re-run season. Anyway, the writers strike is an opportunity if you feel your time could be better spent. If not, have at, this comment is about making choices not imposing them.

Top Chef, I guess....as Project runway is currently In Season.

I blame jinx
Undertoad • Nov 23, 2007 12:04 pm
Also Top Chef. I blame myself.
Madman • Nov 23, 2007 1:54 pm
Law and Order - SVU
Law and Order - Criminal Intent
CSI
CSI Miami
CSI NY
Been hooked on these for quite some time.

My lastest is Kitchen Nightmares. Chef Gordon Ramsey has to be the most "bleeped" man on TV.
Cloud • Nov 23, 2007 2:00 pm
CSI (Las Vegas)
Ghost Whisperer
Numbers.
Bones--I luuurve Bones! The byplay between the jocks and the squints is soo good.

I gave up on House--who wants to hang out with those assholes?

Bones is pretty good too. I got rather bored with Numbers.

Still like House though... I won't say anything about "assholes." Could be a trap... :3_eyes:

this season's Numbers is not as good, I'll grant you.

Moonlight is VERY disappointing.

I'm so crushed they canceled The Dresden Files. :(

My wife likes Moonlight. I just can't get into it. She watches Moonlight and I surf for music videos on YouTube! That's something else I'm hooked on. Odd thing... I just noticed the YouTube music thread here. I'll have to check it out later!

Drax • Nov 24, 2007 2:35 pm
I assume "last tv show" include the shows I currently watch regularly, so here they are:

Chuck
Heroes
Journeyman
La Ink
Bionic Woman
American Chopper
Penn & Teller: Bullshit!
Stargate: Atlantis
Family Guy
Metalocalypse
Cloud • Nov 24, 2007 2:41 pm
oooh, forgot Heroes! How could I?

Very disappointed in both Journeyman and Bionic Woman, though. Poor crop of new shows this season, imo

I can't understand this. Why do people hate Bionic Woman? Is it cuz it's not like the original?
Cloud • Nov 24, 2007 2:52 pm
I don't think the star is engaging, and since the entire show revolves around her, it falls flat.

It's supposed to be. I mean, Jamie is the "Hero" in this one. Besides, strictly speaking as a guy, Michelle Ryan's a hottie.
Cloud • Nov 24, 2007 3:08 pm
cute, but no charisma
Drax • Nov 24, 2007 3:17 pm
Maybe so, but IMO, Ryan's a lot better than most of the other actors on the show IMO, and I'm not baseing this one soley on her cuteness, but on her action scenes.
JuancoRocks • Nov 25, 2007 2:36 am
Was....Barney Miller ~ Bob Newhart Show (The original), Soap and Taxi......(Who are those guys?)

Today it's The Soup, Colbert Report ('Rapporrrr) and Chelsea Handler.

Laughter is good medicine for the body and soul.

Apart from Big Brother, which I watch every year, I'd have to go back to 2002 for a show I wouldn't miss - 3rd series of The League of Gentlemen

Ones I will catch if HM is not watching sport:
Jonathan Ross
I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here
Have I Got News For You
The F Word
Dispatches

I find it hard to justify asking for a specific programme on, unless I think HM will be interested in it. I can miss all of the above and not fret too much. But he hates reality tv... so I'm not sure what I'm going to do during Big Brother 2008.

I only care about:
Chuck
The Office

Usually end up watching because my wife likes them and they are on:

Grey's Anatomy
Amazing Race

Don't have cable.
theotherguy • Nov 26, 2007 12:52 pm
Chuck
Journeyman (Just an updated "Quantum Leap" which I also liked)
Several sitcoms
Cloud • Nov 26, 2007 1:06 pm
Chuck is . . . okay.

Journeyman I did not like. Very unoriginal.

We tivo a lot of stuff, I watch her stuff, she watches mine, so I watch Heroes & Idol because she likes it and she watches Iron Chef America & Boy Meets Grill because I do.
There are some specials we each refuse to watch. I don't watch her "ghost stuff" and she doesn't watch my "art stuff".
regular.joe • Dec 6, 2007 11:30 pm
heroes (my spell checker says it's right, but it doesn't look right.)

And House...

it's the witty banter. "Your eyes are lopsided...and by eyes I mean your breasts."
