Engaged!
It's been mentioned in a few other places, but I thought I would make an "official" post to let y'all know that I am engaged to a long-time Dwellar.
Kitsune and I will be tying the knot in March of 2008, and we are both very excited! I've been reading the Cellar over his shoulder for a couple of years, so I finally decided to join last month. It's been neat getting to know y'all, and I'm looking forward to sticking around for a while.
Anyway, for photographic proof that Kits and I actually know each other, here we are out at Disney World in October of 2006. :lovers:

Kitsune's been one of my favorite posters for a while now -- his [SIZE=-1]fiancée[/SIZE] is bound to be equally cool! Congratulations and welcome!
Kitsune and I got married on Friday, March 14th -- hence our recent absences. Everything went well, and we are now back to the "real world" trying to get the hang of normal life again.
I'll post a link to the professional pictures once I get them in, if anyone is interested. :)

This is actually the main reason why I bumped the "Engaged!" thread rather than start a whole new "Married!" thread. For the last two months before the wedding, I kept thinking of myself as "enraged" to make myself laugh, though at times it was probably true.

We got our professional pictures in last month, so I thought I'd post a few for the curious.

The first is us outside of the century-old restaurant where we held our reception, and the second is eating our delicious key-lime strawberry/mango passionfruit cake.

I picked the dress out on a whim in about half an hour flat. It was the first one I laid eyes on. I tried it on for fun, and it fit, so I bought it. Very happy accident. :)
The poor cake had a different kind of accident. I dropped the top tier when we were bringing it home, so we're going to have to order a fresh, small cake for our first aninversary instead of eating a frozen piece. (I don't understand how a cake with fruit fillings was supposed to last a whole year in the freezer, anyway, so good riddance!)
