Sex & the City star Sarah Jessica Parker has been named the world's unsexiest woman by Maxim magazine.
''How the hell did this Barbaro-faced broad manage to be the least sexy woman in a group of very unsexy women and still star on a show with 'sex' in the title?'' the magazine said.
In the runner-up position is the beehived singer Amy Winehouse, because of her ''openly haemorrhaging translucent skin, rat's nest mane and lashes that look more like surgically attached bats.''
On the small screen, Grey's Anatomy star Sandra Oh came third and Madonna, ''with a mug that looks Euro-sealed to her skull'', was fourth,
Britney Spears, took last place in the Unsexy 5.
''Less than five years ago, Britney had a python wrapped around her well-toned torso onstage at the VMAs.
"Since then, she's lost the ability to perform, but gained two kids, two useless ex-husbands, and about 23 pounds of ... pudge.''

I've never asked him if he thinks she's sexy. I watch 'sex and the city' on foxtel sometimes and he always says, 'she looks like a horse' without any prompting from me.

So did SJP ever get naked on Sex & the City? Or even pop her top? I remember reading an article ages ago saying she wouldn't do it, so the burden was on the other three women. (Fortunately they had Kim Cattrall.. after seeing some of her other work, it's surprising she made it through Star Trek VI with her Starfleet uniform on.)

No, but the sorta "aww-shucks" hot one that was with the fat Baldwin brother for awhile did once. That was worth half a chub.

As for the unsexiest woman title, I think this is a case of Maxim pointing out which women are the unsexiest out of the group of celebrities who are still qualified as sexy for one reason or another. I mean it has to be, because as far as I know, Janet Reno, Rosie O, and the island nation of Haiti are all still in existance.

Once again, I am perplexed by the fact that Uma Thurman somehow failed to make the cut.

I still remember what happened to Jennifer Grey. She was cute in Dirty Dancing. The next time I saw her was playing herself in a sitcom in 2000. I didn't recognize her at first, since I didn't know who the cast was when I tuned in. It looked like some surgeon had taken her flaws and airbrushed them away. She was attractive, in a whitebread-same-as-thousands-of-other-starlets kind of way.

Here is an explanation.

If you have to choose between bland and beautiful, and unique and pretty, I would recommend the latter.

Oh, and by the way, the website also has Angelina Jolie before-and-after nose job pictures. I would like to go on the record as stating that I would have taken Miss Jolie in even without the nose job. Aren't I the gentleman?:p

Rich, maybe my system was being overly sensitive, but that link wreaked all hell with my virus scanner... the site kept trying to open another page and Norton kept deleting a file it was copying to my drive, and I couldn't break the cycle. I had to cut power to the machine before I could get the window to close.

For the record I didn't have any problems with the site.
Interesting though - I agree it's better to be quirky than airbrushed.

It didn't try to open any other pages on me, but I have McAfee and Firefox with pop-up blocking. It might not be warning me when it blocks.

Sorry that you had issues. Either your settings are too sensitive (or you have your notification set to tell you everything) or my Firefox/McAfee combination has let in some junk.

I'll see what the weekly virus scan turns up.
