rules!!!!![/drax]

I'm happy with the letter adding.......dont let the power go to your head.
you could make it so that you can add OR subtract one letter, and change one....then it would get interesting.

Fun party game for smartypantses:
Scramble
Needs 1 set of scrabble tiles, (no scrabble board) and one flat table.
Place all the tiles face down in various corners of the table. Turn one tile at a time face up in the middle of the table. Make scrabble-acceptable words with tiles shown. Go in a circle flipping tiles, until someone calls out a word. That person gets to keep the word in front of them, and starts the next tile flip.
The vicious twist is that you can steal other people's words. For instance, if your neighbor has CAT and R appears, you can call CART and steal them! Then K appears and someone else calls TRACK, and gets the lot.
Extra rules:
* minimum word length 3 letters.
* no modifying words simply by adding S to make a plural or simple verb form. Eg CAT to CATS is not allowed, but CAT to CAST is. LET to LETS is not allowed, but LEST is.
* Likewise, simple past forms made by adding D are not allowed. BARE to BARED is not allowed, but BEARD is.
* You can add letters to your own words.
* If there are two simultaneous calls, the tile is replaced in the corner and shuffled, and a new tile is drawn.
* When the last tiles are used, or all players agree there are no more words to be made, the game ends. Calculate score by adding the points of the letters of your words.
Some steals are amazing. I will never forget thinking INCITE was pretty safe with only the Z loose on the table ... neighbor calls CITIZEN! :eek:
suck?

Use the other hand. It'll feel like someone else.
I always try to use both hands and all my fingers. I want to get faster and to be able to do it without looking.
How about fattiest > brattiest
(if you could drop one, change one and swap two over, you could get fattiest > atheist : )
Resurrected.
Rules
Add or subtract one letter (e.g. BULB > BULBS)
AND/OR
Change one letter (e.g. BULBS > BULLS) OR switch two letters over (e.g. BULBS > BLUBS)
to make a new English word.
CATCH: If you do both things, you can do them in either order, BUT you must have a real English word after the first step as well as at the end.
eg BULB > BULBS > BLUBS good, BULB > BULLB > BULLS bad.
I have no idea if this will work, I'm avoiding bed. I suck at going to bed.
First word: bland
TARD is not an English word. Back to LARD
> CHARD (changed L to H then added C)
SHARED
(H becomes D) --->
DREADS
SHARED
(H becomes D) --->
DREADS
wait what? if the H became D it would be SDARED
