Martha Stewart show

so, she's back on tv and I'm kind of enjoying watching it. It repeats on Fine Living in the evenings the day after.

Martha is so not smooth. She's not that kind of slick people person like, say, Oprah. And she's got this weird self-centered vibe going on, but that all just makes it better.

The celebrity guests are fun to watch, too. You can tell most of them are genuinely excited to be there, and some of them are a bit intimidated by Martha, too. They cook and make crafts, and they're nervous about chopping things, etc. in front of her. Funny.

She's quite crafty. I've seen some of her older shows, with celebrities. Sometimes, it looks like she thinks, "they are nothing, but children". I always liked watching her though. She really does have neat ideas.

Great business woman, terrific ideas and recipes, SUCKS as a person. She always seems cold and condescending to me.

She is. A friends band played a gig where she was appearing. She was a backstage bitch.

I think she's pretty talented and a smart businesswoman, though some would argue otherwise on the latter.

I like her best when she's on Conan's show, though. She totally gets into his stunts.

however, she clearly does have a sense of humor, even about herself, and that goes a long way offsetting some of her less-than-stellar character traits.

I can never see her without thinking of the Martha Stewart Topless Christmas Special from SNL.
