Following a number of similar incidents in recent years, foreign private security firms have been accused of operating outside the law with little or no accountability either to the Iraqi government or US military forces.

And is anyone surprised? Actually yeah, I'm surprised they actually got pulled. It's hard to break ties with the military in an org that is comprised almost entirely of ex-military, lot of friendship connections.

The civilians must have been Americans. If they were Iraqi's, it would have just been business as usual.

Yea, they kicked them right out. Not. They are back to work and can't do without them. The majority do good work and are good at what they do. Like all groups there are good apples and bad apples.
