I am going away for awhile.
I went off on Keryx to day, for no good reason. My nerves are shot, and I have become a danger to myself and others. The people at the crazy house say I will have to hang in till Monday, then I will go away.
Good luck fargon. It's probably a good thing that you're doing this. It's not an easy decision to make, but it's probably the right one.

I just got off the phone with the mental health nurse At the Tomah Wi. VA Medical Center. It has been decided from on high that it will take an act of uncontrolled rage, or violence perpetrated against persons or property before I can be admitted to the nut house. I cant believe this bull shit.

The problem is that if you go to the VA and perpetrate violence against some person or property, they'll probably involuntarily commit you AND charge you with a crime. What a fucking catch-22!
Violence perpetrated against property sounds like a good option. Just find something to tear-up.
The VA tend to be overloaded trying to treat drunks and very occasionally actually crazy people.
Go to your closest psychiatric or medical hospital with an emergency service. Get a walk in evaluation. They should be able to find you placement, regardless of your insurance (or veteran) status.
If not, I'll give you directions to mine. Just don't tell them I sent you ... I'll even tell you how to explain your presence in Pennsylvania.
That's what they told me at an emergency room when I brought in a guy threatening to hurt himself and others. He was turned away from the nut house after the evaluation....
I'm with the tear some crap up at your house camp, and call 911....they like to find evidence at the scene, just don't threaten anyone...look like a threat to yourself. I don't want you pulled in for Domestic Violence......do it alone.
Don't kill yourself just threaten to.
I have the same problem with my brother.....I know it seems rash but really it's the only way. Provide visual evidence of your violence and they have to do it.

Yeah- but she's leaving all the clues on how to annoy people enough to get checked in and stay there. All the wrong things to say at the right time. Like:
"Do you believe I don't want to hurt you?" Say that over and over while they have a mouth full of pepperoni or are trying to make a fresh pot of coffee.....The more you annoy them the longer your stay.
