[CENTER]CAMPING TRIP
When : Aug. 10-12
Where : River side camp grounds ( on the Spring river )
How to get there:
Take I40 west ( across the bridge, toward Little Rock ) at I55 go north ( toward St. Louis ),
at 63 go north ( toward Jonesboro )
Stay on 63 thru Hardy,
At the turn for Many Islands click your odometer,
Go 3.2 miles to the turn for Riverside Camp grounds,
turn left and follow the signs,
it is a little way on down the road,
(These are directions from Memphis )
What to bring:
Tent ( we have a few to lend if need be )
Sleeping bag ( though a quilt or some such will do )
Food ( we need to get to gather to see what the menu will be )
BOOZE : Bring what ya want, but there is NO GLASS ALLOWED ON THE RIVER, and YES the MAN is watching and WANTS to write you a ticket for some thing along the lines of $150.
Clothes and shoes: Swimming stuff, and sandals or shoes that will stay on your feet in rushing water, oh and pack some thing warm ( sweats etc.,,, ) as it gets COOL at nite!![/CENTER]
