The van wouldn't have fit between the posts - or are those rising bollards?

They installed them after they parked there. Now there's no way out without removing one.

I wish they followed it up with after photos.

OK, so the van is about 3.5 slabs wide, it shoukld be able to get out at the bottom of the pic or the top left corner. (yes I did my pythagorus)

look again...that van is a full 4 squares wide...and there'er only 3.25 betwen the pegs

I like that idea; and to add to it, you know how dudes get buried in the cornerstone of a building?
They should do that with the drivers of that van, and then the message would be, like "OR ELSE" ...
