At the above link, popular thread bombs are juxtaposed with old-timey hobo cartoons; it's fusion humor. And it got me to thinking. This is what I came up with. At first I planned to label the speaker and non-listener as different Cellar members, but there were too many to choose from, so I did this:
While searching for DO NOT WANT images, I learned that (supposedly) the origin of DO NOT WANT lies either with an English-to-Chinese-to English of Darth Vader's line "Noooooo!" or a discarded bit of dialogue from the same film, seen below:
I don't know if anyone has done Vader saying "Noooooo! They be stealin' my __________" ...but I did do this DO NOT WANT mod of cat%20robot, to bring things full circle (a Vader-cat, if you will):
Next, I plan to do a cartoon rat, jogging, saying "i has ass", a cartoon monkey, holding a little geometric doohickey, saying "i has tape", and a bass-playing cartoon toad saying "i has job" …I don’t know when I will get around to these, so I encourage anyone who has some free time on their hands to go ahead with them, or any other original (or semi-original), Cellar-themed cartoons.
Just remember, Steve Dallas already exists as a cartoon incarnation.

I mean I get the idea of Cellar meme etc, but I don't get your cartoons.
The person crouching doesn't want to hear. Oh stupid person shutting their ears and saying LALALA. But the person holding forth is also a stupid person shouting BLAHBLAHBLAH to an uncaring world. So who is right?
In the first case, the labels seem to be from the point of the Croucher (as I shall call him). He is shielding his ears, poor thing. In the second case the point of view is the Shouter - his word is falling on intentionally stupid deaf ears.
I know sometimes you should just accept humour at face value... But I don't get it!

Flint -- I think you're an excellent cartoonist. The mouth just didn't look right to me in the original, but it's much better with the necessary details added.

Where do you get those people, Flint? Do you draw them yourself?
Yes, I draw them. With the little pre-shaped shapes you can drag out, and the straight and curved lines you can make with MS Paint. I find that 400 by 400 pixels is a good size; I can hide it inside other (work) application windows, and the curves are so approximated it helps me see how things are shaped. I can erase and pencil in individual pixels when necessary to correct complicated areas.
The first stage in illustration, even fine oil painting, is to flesh things out with geometric shapes. I do that part in MS Paint, and then just stop there.

"Do Not Want" is a humorous phrase in and of itself. It originally came from an Engrish subtitle of Star Wars as posted previously.
To complete the running internet gag, simply take a photo of someone/something being horrified or upset and superimpose the phrase "Do Not Want" on the image. Animals work particularly well. See example below (one of my personal favorites.)

the whole 'do not want' thing doesn't appear on my humorous radar. i don't know why....it's just not funny to me. and i usually get shit like this. oh well.
