For those of us in the States, the American Film Institute is having a special on CBS on the Top 100 movies of all time. These AFI shows tend to be really good--they had one not too long ago on top movie songs -- or was it movie quotes? and it was fantabulous!
http://www.afi.com/tvevents/100years/movies.aspxWhat a rip. I stayed up to watch the whole thing, and Tremors wasn't in there!
Great show! Though Citizen Kane as numero uno is a given, I was reminded of many movies I want to see again, and many I need to see.
I did act out the "I'm not worthy" emoticon when To Kill a Mockingbird came up.
Must fix DVD player.
There were some surprises in there, tho' I thought the "movie quotes" one was better.
I missed seeing the show, but we printed out copies of the new list at work tonight. The doc and I were having a lot of fun looking at the moves up, down, on and off the list. Couple surprises. Nice to see Bladerunner made it on.
