Ibby • Jun 13, 2007 5:43 am

Sundae • Jun 13, 2007 6:17 am

Of course I am only objecting to the word 'pathetic' because there is nothing pathetic about a red blooded american male posting an old glory thread. In fact IRL LJs probably the image of the 'typified' american male and we should clone him and send his clones to Iraq. Maybe his tenacity would win out there! :usar:

My daughter (a member of the Brookline Glory softball team) catches the ceremonial opening pitch of the season from our local state legislator.

Steve that's a great personal touch, two thumbs up.

Jinx... I love a bit of Izzard, but I'm missing the connection. Sorry if it means explaining your subtlety, but could you shine a light please?
jinx • Jun 13, 2007 4:13 pm
Ya, it's from Glorious. Not as good as Dressed to Kill but that wouldn't have fit at all...
Sundae • Jun 13, 2007 4:15 pm
 I even have it on video

My excuse is that stand-up titles elude me - like listening to album tracks, you rarely refer back to the proper packaging.

That puts me in mind of one of the traditional answers to what's worn under a Scotsman's kilt.... "Naught but the glory of God."
