Icognito

Incognito – I like to use that word when I have done something, that maybe I’m not proud of or when I do something that typically is “out of character” for me. This is one small example – please, people feel free to use this as an “outlet” for those times.

Typically, I drive with the sunroof open – it’s one of those things, I like. So, as it happens on this one particular day, that the sunroof was open, I also had left a tube of “Burts Bees” Chap Stick sitting in the cup holder. As my car sits in the hot sun during work, I leave the windows open. Where I work, no one is going to steal my car – I see it outside of my window. Anyway, I go out to the car to get something for lunch. As I’m pulling out of the parking lot – I decide that I need to put on Chap Stick. So, being incognito, I pull the lid off – and “SPLAT” there goes the “stuff” all over the freakin car. Now, how this is possible, but the crap dries almost instantly. I dare not describe exactly what it looks like now that it’s all over everything. And it smears like crazy trying to wipe it up. I should have known what was going to happen and would have avoided this however….
Yes, I know this is not a huge “incognito” thing, but right now it’s the only thing I’m willing to admit to.

how were you being incognito exactly? were you like sitting real low in your car with shades on looking around like you were about to take a line or something?

i did something "stupid", not thinking, no offense to anyone here, but it could have been a "blonde" moment - even though i'm not blond. so rather than saying i was just plain stupid, i prefer to say that i was "icognito" not my normal self.

Is this a reference to Eva Peron?

What is "IEvitable" ...? The chances that Internet Explorer will crash right when you find the hottest pr0n site ever?

I understand what you said and why, jester.

You reminded me of the time my friend grabbed her lipstick off the dash and went to quickly put some on before going in to wherever we were, not realizing it was melted to the consistency of pudding. The whole tube (of a dark red color) mushed all over her lips and teeth. Hysterical.

Bruce, you are such a sweetheart. I'm not being sarcastic, although it occurs to me it might appear that way.

I think it is similar to the title of the thread: icognito.

That's what it was supposed to be. ;)

Okay I have another one – is it just me though?
During high school a few of my friends and I would go to the mall on Friday nights. (nothing else to do) Anyhoo, we were walking around and I saw this really cute guy, so I started following him. I was kind of making gestures behind his back. (somehow my friends ended up being in front of us – so they were watching). I had on these suede boots with flat soles and was sliding my feet rather than actually “walking”. I don’t know why, but all of the sudden my feet just stopped and I fell down on my knees- in front of the “game room”, in the middle of the mall. The dude was gone and my friends were gone as well. Not one to stay down long – I jumped up and ran to where I last seen my friends. They were hiding behind the wall, laughing hysterically. It really was hilarious. No idea who else may have seen the episode. Ahh, the memories – truly wishing at that time, of being incognito.

I always thought that the incognito was one of those things to check when your car wouldn't start -- before the era of electronic ignitions. You know, the points, condenser and incognito?
xoxoxoBruce • Jun 15, 2007 5:23 pm
No, no, incognitos are used in planes, race cars and motorcycles. Cars had points and condensers in their distribulators.

Incognito= disguised as someone else= not yourself.
