I LOVE this movie!
The wonder of the internet: in all my life I never thought I'd run into someone else who knew the movie. I caught it years ago on a cable channel and loved it. I think it was my first realization how much I love indie-type slice of life movies.
Also, people posting their favorite movies makes me think of many other movies I love.
I thought the same thing--everyone I've ever mentioned it to has never heard of the movie. "It stars Leslie Caron." "Huh? Who's that?" "You know, she was in Gigi." "Oh...um...yeah..."

No WAY, man - that movie is one of the things that made me fall in love with him, not the other way around. Big Fish is a BEAUTIFUL movie.
There are just too many ... and I know that I'll keep thinking of movies and have to add to this.
For right now, I'm just trying to think of movies that I've watched a couple of times to catch the nuances, or movies that I just love so deeply that merely seeing a scene as I'm flipping through channels will cause me to stop and watch the movie from that point forward ...
