Purge?

Well, look at the time. It's been fun here in the Cellar, it really has, but it's time to leave you all and say so long. I am backing slowly up the stairs, erasing my tracks as I go, and will close the door softly behind me. In this regard, I tried to delete my posts and close my account, but I can't figure out how to do that.

Can anyone tell me, at the least, how to delete my Cellar account?

We don't generally do that unless it is a personal emergency. If that's the case send me a PM.

Two things are motivating me to withdraw from the Cellar.

When I first arrived, I intended to just drop off an image for IOTD and be gone. So I chose a username that I thought was somewhat creative and signed up. But after I had posted a few times I began to feel that the name HungLikeJesus is very likely hurtful to a number of people. That is the primary reason that I wanted to erase the posts associated with that name, in addition to deleting the account (would BaldLikeBudda be any better? or HinduCheeseburger? No, I don't think so.).

The second thing is that, when I've occasionally found myself in threads where there is a heated debate going on, instead of being the voice of reason (as if that could help!), I've tended to poke the fire with my own sharp stick. This isn't the way I am in real life, and I regret being that way here.

I'm a little bit ambivalent because there is something I've been wanting to write for the Creative Expression forum.

HLJ is a a perfect name for a cellarite, poking with sharp sticks and being a secret inner self is good here, and just do it.

Don't run off , if your user name is to weird PM UT he should be able to change it ,
Post your goodie in the creative wrighting thread , there is lots of good stuff there .
Besided this place is like CRACK , you get a little tast and you CAN'T quit !!

Yeah if all you want is a username change, just tell me what you want the new one to be.

And if I missed it at the contact us form you can pelt me for it, I've missed a few requests recently, busy.

Hell, I've changed mine 23 times already. Problem is I keep forgetting what it was and keep changing it to the same one. Gonna have to start writing stuff down.

I imagine the references to LJ are because it's similar to HLJ.

Actually when I went and though about a new name. The word "periwinkle" came to mind. As a kid I had a friend named "Pericles" but at school he wrote it "Perry"... thus, "Perry Winkle" *shrug*

So I googled Prussian Blue and wondered why there were so many sites. It's also the name of that Nazi girl child band. :ymca: (sort of looks like a nazi smilie)

Maybe those teachers saw this coming, and didn't want Nazi crayons. Sad, it's such a pretty color, too.

Prussian Blue is a beautiful breed of cat. Actually, they have a thick grey undercoat, and the tiny white tips on the surface give them a bluish hue.

I think that's a Russian Blue. I had a cat that looked like he might have some of the RB in him.

Prussian blue is a commonly used color in oil painting. It is actually my favorite blue, because of its richness. That saddens me to think they changed the name of the crayon, oddly enough.
