Poor
Girls Gone Wild guy.
Blowing his nose and wiping away tears, the multimillionaire founder of the "Girls Gone Wild" video empire pleaded guilty to contempt of court Monday and was sentenced to 35 days in jail.
I love it. Allow me to profile:
High school loser. Couldn't get laid if his life depended on it. Realizes that the drunk girls who are stupid enough to give him the time of day are also stupid enough to flash their boobs for all the world. Loser makes millions. Loser gets busted. Loser loses it in court. Loser is still a snivelling pansy-ass who still couldn't get laid if it weren't for the millions of dollars. Loser and his loser girls ride off into the sunset.
Perfect.
His attorney, Jan Handzlik, said being in jail had changed his client.
"He is a different man. Undoubtedly he is a different man," he said.
I'm sure he is. Prison changes people. Until they get out.
Let's all shed a tear for poor misunderstood loser.
I would have thought this would have happened a while ago.
But he gave us "girls gone wild"!
I look forward to his new series.
Boyz gone Wild - Fresh Meat in da House.
But he gave us "girls gone wild"!
Well, knowing the voyeur that you are (unburdened by concerns of class and dignity) I'll have to concur that he did.
I just want to see him snivel some more. Reminds me of a cellarite or two.
Wait, what?
During negotiations with the girls, he went bonkers...then went on to dis da judge in public, calling him "judge gone wild."
You don't piss off da judge. Da judge is god.
What a maroon. What an ignoranamus.
How old is this guy? He doesn't look that old, 22, 23 maybe?

No, that's a separate contempt charge. What I was confused by was the order that preceded that, "settle or go to prison". Shouldn't he have had the option to have an actual trial?

He's right, though. The judge is a "judge gone wild." Judges normally encourage parties to settle, but I've never heard one say "settle or go to jail."
Did I read this wrong?
1) Judge says "settle, or contempt"
2) Settlement talks
3) Dude insults judge when settlement talks break down.
4) Judge holds him in contempt for insult
Step one seems suspect.

AFTER pre-pubescent boy yelled at the girls during negotiations. Judge basically said 'that's enough panty-waist.'
I guess the poor feller IS misunderstood.

Add another 1), making your 1) 1a)
AFTER boy screamed obscenities at girls during negotiations, Judge issues warning to "settle or contempt" letting guy off hook for meantime if you ask me. Boy still couldn't keep his mealy-mouth shut, so THEN judge says "alrighty then, little man, I got your contempt of court right here, as pre-warned"
I applaud the judge.
OK, that makes more sense, but it is still a bad idea to threaten someone with prison for going to trial.
It's a worse idea to insult the judge, though. Even worse to not show up when ordered. I'll shed no tears for him.
I'm no lawyer, so I don't really know, but I was assuming that it wasn't an issue of the judge saying he had to negotiate RATHER than going to trial; but the negotiations were what the parties were initially going for before the guy yelled at them during said negotiations. The negotiations weren't pre-trial negotiations, but an agreed upon negotiation between both parties to settle without a trial (probably best for all involved: guy, girls, court, taxpayers.)
So, judge-guy thought wild-guy was inhibiting those negotiations, and decided the shenanigans were enough, and ordered the boy-party of the first part to stop being an ass and settle the damn thing (in effect, stop wasting everyone's time.)
Then wild-guy-boy mouthed off in public, sealing his fate. :headshake
That was my take on it, anyway.
I keep waiting for "MILF Gone Wild" to come out, those girls are way to young... :D
This jerk got away with having underage girls flash for the camera.
He didn't force them to did he?
Even so, in such a sexual content as GGW, it can be deemed child porn.
He didn't force them to did he?
According to some accounts he pushed a lot harder than was realistically appropriate, including more alcohol and/or drugs than the girls knew they were taking.
Isn't providing drugs and alcohol to underage girls illegal? Why isn't he facing criminal charges?
I don't think they can really prove any of the allegations, which is why it's in civil court.
