Cristie Kerr kisses the trophy she received for winning the LPGA Longs Drugs Challenge at the Twelve Bridges Golf Club in Lincoln, Calif., Sunday, April 21, 2002. Kerr finished with a four-day total of 8-under-par 280. This was Kerr's first win on the LPGA tour. (AP Photo/Rich Pedroncelli)

I'm a lurker here, but I couldn't keep myself from posting this. If you don't get it, don't ask.

A freudian slip of the mind... When I originally read the accompanying text, I saw it as:

"Cristie Kerr kisses the trophy she received for winning the LPGA Long Dong Challenge"

... that's a *terrible* trophy.. do you think she was posing with it like that on purpose?
dave • Apr 22, 2002 5:41 pm
I guess it could only be worse if there were two large golf balls at the bottom... or if she had enveloped the top of it with her lips.

I think the Cellar should adopt a fark.com style NSFW (not safe for work) notice on it's articles :D

For those who haven't seen what the trophy actually looks like:

RQuinn, where did you get your photo?

That second picture is on Yahoo! also.

Check out the "Most-emailed content" on Yahoo!. That number is going through the roof--70 more in the past 10-20 minutes.

That is the greatest picture ever. Perfect. :D

Thanks for posting this... I sent it to my wife & got one of the all-time great double-takes from her!

I have to say I was a bit chagrined to see that some dweeb got $150 for submitting this photo to the "Accidental Porn" page of Maxim magazine. Perhaps I should quit my job and start combing the net for things to submit to magazines.

I immediately thought of sending this to Maxim when I first saw it, but then thought, "no, 100 other dweebs have probably already beaten me."

/me deposits $150 in savings.

Suckers.
Tobiasly • Jul 22, 2002 12:27 pm
I know that wasn't really you Dave, because if it was, your conscience just wouldn't let you sleep until you divvied up the dough among all of us.

My PayPal id is "paypal@tobiasly.com".

Eh, I donated 2/3 of it to the Cellar. The rest, I keep for myself. $50 finder fee. :)

Fair enough.. congratulations!

They never used my only submission for Seems Wrong Somehow -- a smoke shop chain here in Louisville:

I realized that after I double-checked the mag again.. I woulda believed it though, you have to support your expensive computer habit somehow :)

No kidding!

This work thing really is a drag though. It's nice making money, but software sucks!

If only the government used MacOS X exclusively. Man, I would be in heaven. Having a "development" PowerMac would rock my world.

btw, that's a great picture. :)

Thanks. My suggested tagline was "The one-stop shop for all your Cox smoking needs."

:p

I tried to resist but it was just too tempting.
