I'm coming to America

Aliantha • Mar 12, 2007 2:54 am
Just thought you'd all like to know I'll be there later this year or early next year. ;)
rkzenrage • Mar 12, 2007 3:02 am
Have fun. Welcome.
Aliantha • Mar 12, 2007 3:04 am
thanks rkz...we'll be in florida for most of the time. Husband has some work to do there. Hopefully we'll get to do some sight seeing too though.
rkzenrage • Mar 12, 2007 3:07 am
I livez in FL! But I'm evil:sniff:
Aliantha • Mar 12, 2007 3:08 am
well you never know. Maybe I'll knock on your door while I'm there.

It might be a frightening experience for both us though. lol
rkzenrage • Mar 12, 2007 3:09 am
I'll get dressed, I may even shower! Be nice to meet cha'!
Aliantha • Mar 12, 2007 3:13 am
Holy shit! A shower even!!!

Jokes aside, it is always nice to meet people you've 'met' online. A big social experiment really. I've found that most of the people I've ever met before have been pretty much what they portrayed themselves to be, but there have been a few pretenders. That's always the way though.

I feel fairly confident that you'd be one of the real ones. lol It'd be nice to meet you too.
rkzenrage • Mar 12, 2007 3:14 am
I'm less blunt in person, but pretty much the same. I can't spell in person.
rkzenrage • Mar 12, 2007 3:16 am
If I am in pain that day you will have to deal with that. Sorry in advance.
xoxoxoBruce • Mar 12, 2007 6:00 am
Don't forget to bring a gun.
DucksNuts • Mar 12, 2007 6:32 am
Hey shit

you cant meet RK before you meet ME!!!!
Ibby • Mar 12, 2007 9:13 am
Be careful, his bowtie is really a camera!
Aliantha • Mar 12, 2007 7:21 pm
I don''t think they'd let me on the plane with a gun.
Aliantha • Mar 12, 2007 7:26 pm
Ibram...I'll have to remember not to flash my tits, for the sake of posterity. Thanks for the warning. ;)
Aliantha • Mar 12, 2007 7:27 pm
Ducks...well you did say you were comming up here, and then you didn't come.

I'm going to be in Vic in May, so we'll do it then huh? Unless you get your arse up here in the mean time.
rkzenrage • Mar 12, 2007 7:34 pm
Gotta' let me know about when you will be around and what your favorite kind of grub is. I'm looking forward to meeting you, if you can make the side trip.
Aliantha • Mar 12, 2007 8:22 pm
Apparently it's going to be next year some time although not sure when. Hubby has to speak at a conference there, so I will definitely have some time on my hands while he's doing that.

I'll eat pretty much anything, specially if it's soft and gooey. ;)
rkzenrage • Mar 12, 2007 8:28 pm
AAAAAAHHHHhhhhh!

See, you can't pull LJ's tail and run until he forgets. He'll always be lurking, reading, waiting for just the right moment......

But if you don't mind....it don't matter.....Jinx has declawed and defanged him.
He will however, given the chance, wipe his cock on the drapes.
Aliantha • Mar 13, 2007 7:57 pm
so I've noticed.

wondering about this......it's funny, but DOES electricity come from electrons? I'm thinking that it doesn't.
elSicomoro • Mar 13, 2007 8:05 pm
It essentially comes from protons and electrons fucking an electromagnetic field.
Aliantha • Mar 13, 2007 8:06 pm
It's just a joke lj. It doesn't really need deconstruction does it? If you want me to change it due to technical inaccuracy I will...just to please you.
lumberjim • Mar 13, 2007 8:14 pm
no no, i think it's funny. have a nice day, okay?
Aliantha • Mar 13, 2007 8:25 pm
I will. same to you.

Aliantha • Mar 13, 2007 9:22 pm
Well thankyou for saying so. I'm sure those who say you're a great bloke are right too.
rkzenrage • Mar 13, 2007 9:43 pm
When you come to FL, what do you want to do?
Something you can't do down under? Go to Disney, Klan rally, tractor pull, see some hippies (you may have some kinda' hippies there though), see wrestling at the flea market, NASA, Bubba's Mud Ranch (mug boggin'), local stock car racing (though you may have that too, concerts, manatees in the wild, Shamu, giant gun shops (you lost all of yours I think), Venice beach where you can find prehistoric sharks teeth, we will have to see.
elSicomoro • Mar 13, 2007 9:45 pm
Watch refugees float onto the South Florida shore...that could be fun. Kinda like dolphin or whale watching.
Aliantha • Mar 13, 2007 9:45 pm
lol...the giant gun shop might be worth going to see. I want to see the beaches too and see how they compare to the ones we have here. I also want to see some of the countryside. I'm not really big on tourist attractions. I'm more interested in real life kind of things. Maybe winery tours? That sort of stuff.
Aliantha • Mar 13, 2007 9:46 pm
we get a few refugees of our own sycamore. ;) Usually boat people from Indonesia or other asian countries.
Undertoad • Mar 13, 2007 9:53 pm
The Florida climate isn't best for wine grape vines. You need to go to California or at least New York for that
elSicomoro • Mar 13, 2007 9:54 pm
Missouri, baby...we live an hour away from 50-11 wineries, most of them with very good wines.
Aliantha • Mar 13, 2007 9:59 pm
Hmmmm...I can only bring one carton home. That means I only need a few wineries. lol Although, I guess between the two of us we can bring two cartons, so maybe a few more would be in order.

UT...most of our wine growing happens in the cooler climates down south although there are a few in the warmer states. Nowhere near as many as down south though.
