Recently, a very close friend passed away and left me a rifle that was very special to him. His wife bought it for in '50 or '51, I believe. Can someone point me toward some reference information for that era? I would appreciate it.

unless i am misstakened they built for Sears mostly ,
But am digging on all the owners manuels on this site

I think so, I inherited a model 41 from my mom. She was hell on squirrels with that thing.
