Are you British?
Cloud • Feb 20, 2007 11:57 pm
nuh uh. Not hot and dry, there, tis it?
rkzenrage • Feb 21, 2007 12:04 am
Hot an' humid as Cleopatra's panties.
Cloud • Feb 21, 2007 12:10 am
whilst trying to decipher Mr. Angry R's epistles, I cycle through:

1) Well, Cleopatra lived in Egypt which was hot, but not humid.

?

2) Okay, but Cleopatra's DEAD which would make for dry and dusty/

?

3) Did Cleopatra even wear panties?

?

4) And, hey! Speaking of Egypt, I downloaded the Nile theme on my desktop and now it burbles middle-easterny musically whenever I get an email.

None of which takes me any closer to faint understanding.

I live in Texas, bub. Why?

Goth Golf? I assume that instead of using the holes on the course, they just pierce the holes themselves.

:smack: :biggrinha

Quel fromage!

Hmm... Egypt, hot and humid...

The sexual life of the Camel
Is stranger than anyone thinks
In transports of amorous passion
He's been known to make love to the Sphinx
But the Sphinx's posterior channel
Is silted in with the sands of the Nile
Which accounts for the hump on the Camel
And the Sphinx's inscrutable smile.

[one bar of tinkly piano]

"And they were singing
Bye, bye Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry
Them good ol' boys were drinking whiskey and rye
Singing 'this will be the day that I die.'"

Ahh yeah, like the world needs a channel devoted to people who are already sad. I was "Goth" before it was "trendy", remember Morrisey? The Cure (in the late 80's early 90's). What could possibly be next? The EMO channel?
Sperlock • Feb 22, 2007 10:15 pm
The Goth Channel - Other channels pale in comparison. ;)

Just like it's spelled. Sorta rhymes with Roth (IRA) and moth, but moreso in the South.
