Flying to Las Vegas

In March we're flying to Las Vegas for a wedding. It will be our third time visiting the city and each time we see something that we missed before. This time we plan to spend a day in Henderson, NV. Anyone been to Henderson, NV before? Any suggestions on sights to see?

Henderson is pretty much a residential community, I think. Not much touristy stuff, but between Lake Mead and Vegas, it doesn't have to be. ;)
