$1.5 million? What's that?
It's a 2002 article that says;
Over all, the Pentagon has spent $25 million since 1998 on ressearching what it calls controlled biological systems, traits of animals that might be turned into war-fighting technologies.
Did you read $1.5 million somewhere else? :confused:
Reminiscent of the incendiary bats...
yeah. that article says 25mil on like projects. i got a story on my cell phone that said they spent 1.5 mil on the bees, but are discontinuing the research because the bees aren't reliable enough to risk lives.
At least it was only $1.5 million, unlike some of the dead ends, and hopefully they found stuff about bees/insects they might use later.
I could see there would be a liability of someone getting stung that's allergic to them. Dogs can be leashed, but that's tough with bees. Pretty hard to keep track of the little beggers, too. If they find something, and nobody sees them, boom.
Oh, I know.... they're really going to use them but don't want to tip off the terrorists. Yeah, that's it.... no wasted money. Whew, I feel better.:D
You can rely on bees to make honey. They are a bunch of queen serving toadies. Maybe if rumsfeld got dressed up in a bee costume and
it's like little kids are in charge.
serv them bomb toteing fool right to get swarmed with bees !!!!
That sounds like something out of the Dangermouse cartoon.

...does that mean I need to be nervous of my washing machine now? :worried:
