Heh, I almost named this PMs, then I was like 'Waiiit a sec...'
How many Private Messages do you have? I've only got 26 Total, and six of those are from the past couple days.
Hardly anyone ever sends me PM's. The entire time I've been annoying everyone here I think I have about 6 to show for it. :(
Well, if you want to be scientific about it...
I have 116 PMs, in 2 years and 8 months of posting = 3.625 per month

of course work. Although our slagging is very mild. The complaint most often is that everyone is seen chatting everyone else up all of the time.
So one day the biggester chatter of all was caught complaining to management that her little worklings were 'talking as friends.'

But we were as evil as eachother - or at least had the same wicked sense of humour.
Except in the case of one coworker we really didn't get on with (guess who is STILL sitting next to me after the move?) it was mostly targeted at management. Amending and forwarding round emails to show what they really meant. Or disgusted account of what X asked them to do - does she think I'm her personal slave?! That sort.
Amongst the troops there's a good sense of camraderie. There has to be really, public services is hardly known for it's huge paypackets!

In my experience, this can be a very dangerous practice. lol All it takes is one wrong click in the 'To' column and you're history.

I know. I used to produce a scurrilous newsletter that I stopped circulating because I had no control over who ended up seeing it...
I figure if they want me out they'll get me out one way or another anyway - but I do try to be as careful as I can.
Still. my Night Before Christmas parody somehow leaked out without my name on and did the rounds. Not that I sent it to someone I knew couldn't keep a secret of course, pretending I'd just received it....

I'm pretty unpopular... I never had any neighbors or friends as a kid. Just don't have any social skills.
To this day almost my friends (I do have a couple) are in their fifties and sixties (or are very eccentric artists). Just don't deal well with games and the older generation seems to communicate with me in my direct way better.

I'm not sure I made myself clear. I was not agreeing with your statement that you are "not very popular" by saying that you are not unpopular - that you are not, contrary to your post, disliked. A low PM count only means you haven't pissed off too many people which is not a bad thing.
