3/21: Dead Zimbabwean farmer

Terence Ford, a white Zimbabwean farmer, was killed as part of the power struggles surrounding last week's elections there. White farmers are killed by black militant land settlers who want to take the land. He had called for help and was trying to escape.

And his dog has curled up next to his dead body.

The rather awful thing is that Mugabe's government supports this.

It will be interesting to see how things turn out in Zimbabwe over the next year or so. Tsingvari has now been accused/indicted/whatever'd of conspiracy against Mugabe, though his accusations seem rather baseless.

Say it with me, tw. Extremists == bad.

In a fair election, Tsingvari would have won...probably handily. IIRC, Mugabe refused election monitors...I wonder why.
