I talked to a local deity of timber framing yesterday. He actually gets to save old frames for a living. He's doing one now thats about 35' x 45'. They are sheathing the outside of it now and turning it into a lakeside home for big$.

Of course this thread is about twisting LJ's tail not about timber work.
