Down with bras! I agree! No actually these are Thai union reps and a worker, protesting Hong Kong's Clover Group International, which owns the company that owns that factory that makes bras for the above retailers. It turns out that they are mad because the company is shutting down the plant and moving to China for cheaper labor. xoB noticed the image.

Do they actually make bras with a little sequin outline of the nipple?

Those are some pretty big cups to fill.

That's what I was thinking. I am sure there is some porn star out there that would make use of them.

Maybe they should join the Union of Taiwan International Textiles. Of course, they are better known by their acronym. ;-)

Does the Gap even sell bras? And bras that big don't come from those companies.

He said the workers had no choice but to defy the ban on protests, which was enacted after coup leaders declared martial law.

"We're a little frightened," he said. "But for a poor person, it's more frightening to lose your job."
1600 people not only losing their jobs but the severance pay that Thai law guarantees, is a serious blow. :(

Do the Thais have lame labor policies like the French? (or GM)

We want to meet Clover now!

But my little dog Clover is asleep in the bedroom. Maybe later.

(Granted, they might be jumping the gun a little).

I frequently come across huge bras like those in stores...normally at the back or in the clearance. And there are all kinds of funny ridiculous bra designs in those clearance sections. Sequins aren't that bad.
Boobs that big can cause back problems...that is why I am thankful for my "little mounds" I already have enough back problems. or so I tell myself

We once needed a third girl for a volleyball team. So with help from my roomate's girlfriend, I stuffed seven peaches and two tee shirts inside each cup. Shaved legs, those little socks with fuzzy balls on the heal, blouse, eye shadow, foundation ... we did the whole thing. Took two hours to get ready. I entered the tournament grounds on the arm of a 'pretty boy' housemate who always has a pretty date ... and the place went silent. Nobody recognized me. Seven peaches and tee shirt ... and it took almost 30 seconds for someone to finally identify my face. Did that demonstration get as much attention?

I don't know how big chested women do it. I kept hitting other people with my cups. Had to go home to replace some of my peaches.

No more so than making them all day..... but I'm sure they are more concerned with being the first public demonstration since the government made demonstrations illegal.....and being in front of Bush's embassy.:worried:
