The Guardian

I saw The Guardian over the weekend. It's basically Top Gun via the Coast Guard--well, not exactly as this is a movie about rescue swimmers--the brutal training and then the first saves, etc. I really liked it though, made me wanna be a better person. The real story, though, is that Ashton Kutcher was waaaay better than I thought he'd be and, girls, he is HOTHOTHOT. Just looking at him on the big screen is well worth the admission price.

Now I wanna date a USCG--but, I'm in south-west Ohio. Always a bridesmaid....

With their offices located in the heart of downtown Louisville, Ky., the 465 personnel of Coast Guard Sector Ohio Valley are responsible for maintaining the safety and security of all commercial and recreational traffic in their area of responsibility. Sector Ohio Valley has an AOR that ranges from the eastern portion of Missouri to the southwestern corner of Pennsylvania, and from northern Alabama to Ohio.
