Well it was best I could do with what I had.:)

Welcome to the Shine Fest and 20th Anniversary

Windmill moving party. Mill was moved on July 4 1986.

Standing up welded to trailer and moved down the road!

November 4 at Shine’s place

Hwy 531 South of Bay Springs.

Anvil shoot at 2PM.

Sausage, biscuits, syrup and coffee will be served. Cane grinding, Syrup making, corn grinding and baked sweet taters. Antique cars, trucks, tractors and engines. Blue grass music, parched goobers. John Deere wagon hay ride for kids. Call 601 725 4613 for info. Bring your chairs and cameras.

Parched? How do you prepare those? I have enjoyed Boiled when I'm in that region. It's a nostalgic treat for me. In fact, I think I still have a big ziploc bag of them in the freezer at home. I'll haul them out tonight. Yum.

In Seattle it doesn't get dry enough to parch goobers. Move east or spend a winter at high altitudes and your goobers'll be parched. You can take that to the bank. ;)

Seriously, I reckon you get a mess o' goobers and parch 'em.
