Hypocritical USA haters in Levis...

rkzenrage • Sep 13, 2006 12:38 am
Inspired more from other boards, but not completely...

Hanging out at Disney and on FL beaches bitching about how much they hate us, using their American based (or even fully American) education to figure out what they dislike about us, while having their parents treated for cardiovascular disease in NY and investing in Dell to retire in Arizona....

I say it all the time, we are "evil" when we "police the world" and then we are "evil" when we "refuse to police the world". They don't know what they want other than someone who is not afraid to make a decision to blame.
It's called envy.
Again, as always, don't use our cash, don't take our aid, don't use our technology (in any field), don't ask us to bail your ass out of any situation, don't come here for heart, brain surgery, vacation or retirement or send your kids to school here, don't come here to work so you can buy a home in your broke-ass country instead of staying there an fixing it yourself.... don't, don't, don't do shit with the US... THEN you won't have shit to complain about.
It's easy.

Don't like the US... stay the FUCK away from ANYTHING to do with us you pathetic little hypocrite. Stay in your own little nation and be happy.
I understand not liking an aspect... but that is not what I hear all the time... so if you "hate" us... then you hate all of it.

I am the biggest dissenter I know... but I am also a patriot.
I love this nation, that means I want to change it, from within, with caring and love for the citizens, with voting, by changing it's laws and by changing the hearts and minds of the citizens and by getting rid of the current administration (&, hopefully, prosecuting them).

What I have no room for are those that say that America is "BAD", that say Americans are "BAD", yet prosper from all they can from every aspect of our technology, economy, entertainment, military and every other form of advancements we have, when it suits them. How many of you are typing your bitching out on an American brand computer now, hypocrites?
If we are all bad, then we are ALL BAD and that means you should do away with ALL AMERICA IN YOUR NATION AND LIVES. Not just what you WANT TO and then KEEP THE PARTS YOU WANT, while acting like you hate us.

Like spoiled fifteen year olds that say they hate their parents, but take the allowance anyway.

RK; The Conservative Union of repubican Supporters (CURS) would like to inform you that your calls will be monitored henceforth, as will your e-mail. While CURS support freedom and liberty, you are only free to oppose democrats, not the repubicans or the cheney administration. Feel free to demonstrate against oval office blowjobs and the welfare program, but if you oppose this administration, you will be Plamed! :D

On Sept 12, 2001, I endosed temporarily closing our borders to non-Americans. That gesture would not only have protected us, it would have shown that the world would be worse off without us, and would likely have increased our esteem.

I am a democrat. My views from experience.

My little rants I usually keep inside.

A cashier newly hired responded to me in spanish. Then asked in english if I spoke spanish. I simply said no. He asked "why" I said "because I don't have to" and continued on my business. ( He was being a jerk)

Two middle eastern guys looking at the monday paper. The towers all ablaze. I made eye contact and said hello. Something other than hostility was there. Some kind of wanting to reach for a middle ground. To make amends. I didn't know if I wanted to appologize for that photo. Conflicting emotions. I didn't want anyone gloating for that act nor did I want to be a part of photo sensationalizm.

Driving in for gasoline. A stationed owned by Middle eastern indians. They have a photo of thier son hanging. He is a marine. They tell me thank you so much for comming in in such a way that spoke volumes. I said it was my pleasure. I walked out wondering how much hate comes their way because of the ignorance of people. Their hurt running double because they have a son serving now.

I don't like my credit card information outsourced to another country though.

It's okay to stay a registered democrat after you discover that little separates you from the conservatives, if it makes you feel better.

Your guilt over the arabic-looking guys looking at pics of 9/11 is a clear liberal trait though. You don't need to feel guilty over something you didn't do, didn't cause, and neither did they.

When there is another political party with enough clout to defeat the 'in house' republicans then I'll change otherwise it's a waisted effort. One person changing my affiliation won't change a thing. If democrats would come together in like mindedness there could be a radical change. I think the many is greater than the few in our American politics anyway.

I don't think alternating emotions of shame and protectiveness is guilt. I am ashamed of our government. I am ashamed of our sentationalistic media. Oh but I know they had a right to touch that photo. The same right they had to touch the model on the cover of the womans magazine. I know they weren't to blame. I put the blame on our government.

Neo-Cons are not conservative in ANY way (smaller government, belief in the Constitution/Bill Of Rights... MY ASS!?) any more than today's Democratic party resembles the Democratic Party's true charter in any way... Clinton did WHAT to the nation's public lands?

As long as people are content with catagorizing themselves into these impossibly monolithic groups, and de-humanizing those who are "against" them, we will keep getting bamboozled by the us-versus-them politics of boogeyman-ism. Some political theory history for everyone:
The neocons primary theoretical antecendent is Leo Strauss, a Trotskyite. Irving Kristol called the neoconservatives, "Socialists who just got mugged." More generally, they're welfare-staters (whether it be personal welfare or corporate) who supported Reagan during the Cold War and they're primarily defined by their foreign policy stances (specifically pre-emptive 'Big Stick'/military action over diplomacy) rather than domestic ones.
Also, they're mostly assholes. They're the ones that make shit up to get their way in government, (e.g., the OSP [Doug Feith's group] in the Pentagon and the current Pentagonian Iran Working Group [and if you don't believe they're trying to get us into Iran, despite the failures in Iraq, you're fooling yourself]).
So, for all you 'liberal haters' out there, be aware of how you label yourselves.

I don't follow that. By isolationist, I thought we were talking about economic self reliance, self controlled, self contained, as much as possible.

Do you want allies or lackeys?
9th Engineer • Sep 23, 2006 4:21 pm
I don't think isolationism can be equated with wanting to be totally self-reliant, and if it turns out it can then maybe it's not such a bad thing. Look at the Japanese, they would be called isolationist under that argument and they're kicking ass the world over. We need to emulating THEM, not the other way 'round right now.
rkzenrage • Sep 23, 2006 4:35 pm
I want allies.
I agree 9th, the Japanese model is an excellent one. While maintaining a strong home military and strengthening our borders.

It is very simple... don't do business with people who don't like you. If they bad-mouth you or go against you interests, on a regular basis, just don't. If they start, call in your debts from them, NOW.
We need to start making nations pay back our loans anyway & if they do not, remove natural resources. Easy enough to off-shore drill until the over-due debt is paid or something similar.

Perhaps, rich, you should follow the warriors path and take up martial arts. As I sit here contemplating the vast multitudes of honorable and worthy men and women contained within the proud vistas of this great nation, I feel that you should expand your mind as well and immerse yourself in the community and philosophy to be found in Solider of Fortune. In the dark corners of the stormy night, my reality challenges you to accept my teachings, for I have walked a strange and dangerous path. I'm afraid the smart course is that we must assume that everyone is using everyone to some extent. As we do. The search for unconditional love in politics will break your heart. And If believe you find it, it eventually leads to more bad than good.

You mention that true allies dont use or hate us. So conditions and love entered into your statement. But I agree, it is a matter of joint interests and it is very romantic to think that allies could ever be solidly, enduringly "true".

The truly brave who have taken up the noble skill of martial arts, beholding the brave oppressed with odds, are touched with a desire to shield and read the Soldier of Fortune for at least 10 years.
The Urban Teacher --a mixture of wild beasts and demi-gods is he--now furious as the sweeping wave, now moved with pity; even as sometimes nods the rugged tree unto the summer wind, compassion breathes along the savage mind to bring you earthling into a world where the lost pleiad seen no more below.

Oh, ick! You read Soldier of Fortune? Well, I suppose you would. I used to know a guy that wrote for them, and, in real life, he was the most arrogant wussy boy you'd ever want to meet. hey, I'm not saying thats not how it SHOULD work or that its not how I would do things. I'm just saying, thats not how international politics work. I, however, am not a country, and so I dont give a shit for how international politics work, I'll do things my way, how I see fit.

Then what are you doing in here discussing it, if you don't give a shit about it? Just want to throw a monkey-wrench in a conversation you have nothing to do with... get your ego on? Thanks.

I'm not sure if I buy into the rant about people being educated here and then leaving for other countries (I hear that alot). Although higher education in the States is great, it's also pricey, and it's certainly not a monopoly. I hear people refering to education as a commodity, why is it so wrong then to buy a good education here and do with it whatever you want? I'm not saying I want to run off and do work for the Chinese government or anything like that, but can you call someone a traitor for accepting a better job overseas??

The "rant" is about usury. If you feel the US is so "evil" and "terrible"... don't have anything to do with something you find so distasteful, again letting your ethical/moral system dictate your actions. Part of that is staying out of our educational system if the US is your ultimate evil. It ain't hard.
If you hate global warming, don't work for company that uses a coal burning turbine with no exhaust scrubbers and just pays the fines. Any of this getting through?

I wasn't refering so much to people who hate the US so much as people who don't mind it but plan to work in another country for better wages or ethical (company specific) concerns or whatnot. I got ranted at after making the statement that I should learn Japanese or Chinese since they seem to be sucking up so many grads now... :thepain:

Well that's polite...

I said I dont give a shit about how it WORKS, because I dont give a shit about how anything works, I do things my way or not at all.

My, my, someone's irritable.

No, annoyed, because you are acting like you don't get it when you do. You do that a lot. It is a cheap way of debating.
Just debate, if your point is weak, then concede or just stop.

Oh, I don't care about them... but if they want to go to school here they need to learn conversational English first.
Part of this rant should be that English needs to be our national language and all business and paperwork should be in that one language.
Either that or their nations need to have all of their documents and business in both languages in all cases. Which you know is not going to happen. (I don't want to hear about most)

Well, fantasy can be funny.

Perhaps, rich, you should take up martial arts -- something I need to get back into myself, and if you can't get out more and see how many varieties of people our wide land contains and their worthiness, at the very least read Soldier of Fortune for one year. You don't grok me because you don't have the concepts; you haven't had the education. I'm realer than you'd like, and I challenge your ideas of how human beings are by my mere existence, to say nothing of what I post. I'm here to chivvy you into a wider world, being less provincial in my outlook than you.
BTW, I ran this post through Gender Guesser.

This would explain a lot.:D
