If you would like to announce your candidacy, promote your campaign agenda, or shit-talk your opponents, you should get crackin'! Don't wait until the last minute, just to get steamrolled by some slick PR wizard with a bullet-proof resume. The time to act is now! I suggest you start by rendering the incumbents un-re-electable, just to level the paying field. Unless you have some dirt on them you want to wait until election time to drag out...
You're really Jack "Deep Thoughts" Handey, aren't you?
Seems to me that the Mods are doing what they need to do, and doing it well.
/shrugs
Just my :2cents:
Do you know what the Mods are supposed to do,..........besides mowing the grass and shoveling the snow, Flint:question:
I have seen less crap , and a content seemes to be stired where it needs to be , Good job Mods !!!
Moderators are elected, current term runs through 12/31/06
I'm just sayin' - shouldn't we be prepared for when the current term expires?
You can be prepared. I'll deal with it when the time comes.
You can be prepared.
(Flint = the ant)
I'll deal with it when the time comes.
(glatt = the grasshopper)
Again, the term of this office will be through 12/31/2006. At the end of the term, we should discuss whether the system works, whether the number of mods is right, etc. Then we should have the next election.
I guess we
are supposed to wait before discussing this!
One last thing: Perhaps the most important thing a moderator can do is just
be around.
Currently, we are getting great mod service between 8:00a and 4:30p (CST) - which is great because
those are my office hours.
Once I get back to work I'll be providing the same sterling coverage on the late shift, to catch all those spamming bastards posting from India and China.
Seriously, I think anyone that is willing to volunteer for extra work deserves a pat on the back. ::: pat ::: (That's not harassment, is it?)
