Just saw this tonight.. in my opinion pretty tastefully done (doesn't show the planes hitting the towers, and only one jumper), the only movie I've ever seen that made me well up at a couple points.

I probably won't be seeing it. Reviewing 9-11 tends to give me a very scary face. People hurry away.

Then I come here and write.

in my local pub tonight, this no-brain scouser was trying to convince all and sundry of the validity of the conspiracy version (demolition charges in the twin towers, exocet into the pentagon, etc...) and his conclusion was that it was all staged by the US gov in order to wage war on Iraq in order to control the Iraq oilfields.

Pure balderdash, of course.

Hollywood and the MPA had finally realised that the Nightmare on elm st, Jaws, friday 13th, I know....last summer and final destination franchises had about run their course...

watch out for the cross-over 'Final Destination - 9\11' coming to a screen soon to a screen near you....

One of my close friends brought this up a week ago. I was shocked - this is an intelligent and reasonably well read man (albeit not a deep thinker). His punishment was to wade through all the emails I sent him next day debunking the conspiracy theories.

Teach him to express an opinion in front of me :right:
