A woman has holed herself up a Florida church to avoid being deported for a second time. Other members of her congregation are protecting her are protesting the U.S. immigration laws.

I just don't understand this anymore. She's even gone so far as to have a son here and claim him as her link to the country. I'm sorry, we do not rationalize other crimes by saying "well so many people commit them that it'll be easier to just forget it happened". And to say that she should not be deported because of her son is rediculous as well, he goes home with her. It just blows my mind that people would rationalize this womans crimes, especially since she has already been deported and came back a second time! Emotional pandering, no logic or clear thinking to be found anywhere.

I suspect that this may be the next big (stupid) project of the Catholic Church, as most of the Southern illegals are Catholics, and might claim sanctuary.

Sanctuary much.
Why, you're welcome.

I was thinking that, but decided to play it straight and not make a sly comment regarding bell ringing.
