2/21: Tongue dog!

It's not a photoshop! Apparently this dog was on "Ripley's Believe it or Not" yesterday, but the site and its few images hit fark.com the day before.



These shots are from the dawg's website, www.tungdog.com, but there's nothing there but the above shots and two others. Unfortunately for web visitors, the images on the site are set up with the wrong height and width settings, so they look awful -- the shots as you see them here are actual size, better versions.

I've heard about this sort of thing. Since we have bred dogs for specific purposes, cross-breeding can now produce some oddities. A chihuahua CAN breed with a great dane... if it can reach.

That must be the most annoying site I've ever seen. God.

My wife and I rescue Boxers, and we had one similar to this who we think had suffered a stroke. Her tongue hung out about 7 inches, but sheesh, this one could get a job at the post office as a stamp licker.

Which Mutant designed that site? No real offence meant, but normally I at least look at the sites I design and see if they induce vomiting before I unleash them on the general public....
